I am a 34 year old, die hard video gamer and semi pro hockey player. Well, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Wii this Christmas. I wanted to try out the new technology. The price is right at $250.00. I can't see paying $500.00+ for an Xbox or PS3, since pc gaming is way better. I have to say, the Nintendo Wii is amazing. I thought the technology was going to be glitchy, but it's not. The technology in the Nintedo Wii is way before it's time. I even break a sweat while playing some of the games, like boxing and tennis. With bringing excercise to video game consoles, will the Wii and this new technology take over. I am looking forward to more virtual gaming that includes excersising while we play. What do you think?

I have played xbox 360 and ps3 many times,as my brother owns them both. I would rather have a computer, its a better non laggy experience. The ps3 has motion capabilities, the 6 axis is pretty cool. But not as good as the Wii.

I doubt it, companies like Nintendo have made it very clear they're only in it for the games while companies like MS and Sony have made it pretty clear that they're looking more towards all in one entertainment units, both of which will always have a market IMO.

The Wii also isn't the only current motion capable system (PS3), nor is the motion technology as perfect as you have thus experienced, it really depends on the game not the unit itself.

In the future I think this sort of gameplay is going to become more standard but I don't think the Wii is so revolutionary that it's going to snuff out any future competition.

nicely the wii is the single that initially got here up with that concept and made the wii with a administration that has a 360 degree action sensing compatibilities. The ps3 only has 6 way action sensing. by skill of ways i think of that the ps3 took out the rumble gadget off to put in that action sensing element on.

Well to be hounest with you i dont think that nintendo will continue with that techonolgy its all fun with games that are nintendo trademarks such as mario and zelda. but with games like spiderman and smackdown Pro evoloution fifa or and stuff like that you cant risk it and i belive we are in a games war and i dont think nintendo will take that risk again. And i'd ahte to see nintendo crash and burn because nintendo is original ( apart from atari) but way before microsoft and sony were hitting game consoles nintendo managed to defeat sega and im growing up with nintendo ever since the orignal nintendo the SNES N64 gamecube and wii ive had every console Game boy Game boy colour Game boy advance DS every one. and if your a real die hard gaming fan you have to respect everything that nintendo has brought to the gaming world.
