This question has been done about a hundred times.

Either you're not really looking for an answer, or you're pretty lazy.

Evolution does not say that mankind evolved from apes. it does theorize (And thats a key word...) that both apes and humans share a common ancestor. Both species eveolved from a single earlier form...

There is good evidence to support the theory. DNA analysis has shown tha apes and humans have 97% identical genes.

That being said, the word "theory" means that it explains what we have observed, BUT that we are always looking for a better answer. Nothing in the word "theory" equals the definition of "proven"

Well we didnt evolve FROM apes as such, cause we ARE apes. We are just a variant of primates with orangutan, chimpanzee etc as our distant relatives. Us primates shared a common ancestor, and then all evolved to become slightly different to adapt to different conditions/environment/diet. Homo sapiens just decided to leave the safety of the trees and learnt how to walk/run on two legs.

maybe it was only one type of ape we evolved from and the others stayed pretty much the same

I think it's something to do from coming from a "common ancestor" then splitting off into different branches.
