I just had my daughter 2 1/2 months ago. I had an emergency c-section after 2 1/2 days of labor. I couldn't dilate past a 2, even with having my water broke. Found out my pelvic bone is too narrow for a baby to fit through (baby was avg sz). When I asked about future kids, my doctor STRONGLY insisted a scheduled c-section. .
My question is this... When I get pregnant next time, will a midwife be willing to accept a patient who will definitely be getting a c-section? I am not willing to attempt a VBAC as my doctor (who was strongly in favor of natural birth at the beginning) was very determined in his warnings against it due to my pelvic bone. The doctor that delivered my baby was AWESOME, but he is about to relocate. I've heard so many wonderful stories about midwives and would love to be in one's care for my next pregnancy.
Advice or experience would definitely be helpful!
