How are questions here not genuine and a mockery?
We know a mockery and we know what's genuine when we see it.

Beliefnet has forums for most religions (and their denominations) but I sometimes view specific forums as 'ghettoe mentalities' - where you can believe what you do without being challenged. If you aren't being challenged, your faith won't grow - it will stagnate.
I understand your being hurt by the mockery - but as long as you identify when to offer a reasonable defence or when to keep quiet, you should be fine. That's life, people disagree, see it as an opportunity to question and define what YOU believe - and remember in all this that God's big enough to take care of Himself and you at the same time :-)
If it's REALLY getting to you emotionally so that you have it all rolling round your mind even when you're not here, maybe you need to take a break - for your own sanity.

i do get frustrated however, i like this site. i get a lot of mockery too, but you never know what is going to happen through your honest answer. your honesty could make the difference to one person god has been trying to reach. god puts us in the world, not in a protected place. i know it's a drag when you want an honest answer or question and you get sarcasm. just ask it again or keep looking for the ones you like. say a prayer that god give you good witnesses and keep trying. but don't leave the site because the "waters" get rough. we need you.

There are legitimate sites. I try not to get discouraged, but I feel really sorry for the ones who mock. If they do not change, things will go very badly for them on the day of judgement.

never discouraged because this is our way of fellowshiping.... these people who ask 'stupid' questions may or may not be honestly seeking God but don't want to make it seem like that... we are here to help spread the word of God to any and all who will hear... I find their questions very funny because I know the truth about God's greatness

"Do you ever get discouraged reading the questions on here from people who mock our God?"
I get discouraged by the "bigoted" attitudes that believe "thier Belief is the ONLY Belief"!
There are many Beliefs and many wars over those Beliefs!
Why can't WE ALL "just get along"?

I get annoyed with ALL of the stupid questions--from anti-theists and so-called Christians, alike. To be honest, my opinion of people in my own faith has plummeted since I began participating in R&S. There is just no excuse for the rudeness I've seen in some of the questions and answers given by people who call themselves Christian.

No. I just look at it as a test of my faith. If it's so weak that I fold under a little pressure, I need to reevaluate myself, if you will.
Below is a great site for people with genuine question seeking genuine answers.
God bless!

There are many private forums where you can pat each other on the back all day long and not have to answer serious questions about your beliefs
Attendence here is voluntary

I don't know of any other sites, though I'm sure there are some.
Let's face it, 99% of the "trolls" here would NEVER say the things they say here out in the real world, because in here, we're all essentially annonomous.
Don't let them get to you though; that's what they, (or more correctly, Satan) wants to do. Pray, and ask God to let the hateful words roll off you like water off a duck's back; and hang in there.
Who knows, you could be the very one God uses someday to reach one of these trolls.
