My brown lab has a bubble looking bump where his armpit is. It's about the size of an oreo cookie.

You should get it checked out by the Vet. It could be a Mast cell tumour which can spread rapidly and become fatal, or it might just be a fatty lump and quite harmless. The Vet will know.

How old is he?

Sounds possibly like a benign fatty tumor - older labs and goldens often get them. But take him to a vet and get it checked out to make sure it is not something more serious.

I have seen many of these over the years. It could be cancerous tumor. Take him to the vet right away.
I hope this info helps. Good luck!

without seeing it i couldnt say, if its has appeared suddenly this may be an abcess or infection of some sort, if it has developed more slowly over time than it could either be some sort of skin thing that happens to most dogs as they get older or (and i hate to say it) it could be the dreaded C word, either way please get him checked by the Vet.

Sounds like a vet trip is in order; first to find out what this is and then to treat it.

I'd take him to a vet and see what it is. It may just be something that needs lancing and draining.
