Any thoughts incidents that conjure memories of bad violations and experiences.

Th ehuman is a formidable survival machine in its ability to protect itself from undue and harsh damage.

There is no subconscious mind. There is only the conscious and non-conscious.

Freud originally believed in a mind that had 3 parts...conscious, sub-, and un-...but these ideas have not been supported by empirical evidence.
