I never changed my name or did anything official here in the U.S. so I'm not sure if I'm legally married here? I have been asking him for a divorce, but he won't give me one. It would be cheaper for him to do the divorce there in the Dominican Republic (where we were married). He is Dominican and is still living there. I am an American citizen and we have a child together. I want to know if our marriage is legal under U.S. law before I go and hire an attorney to officially divorce him.

If you don't like having anything to do with Christ in Christmas, then just don't celebrate it! I don't celebrate hannakuh because I'm not Jewish, so you don't have to celebrate CHRISTmas if your not christian. Why can't some people just see that?

most of the people in my family don't give me the time of day unless they want money or need me to do something for them. I have come to look at it as a blessing because I have gotten over the emotional side of wanting them to love me... here is this one child that has a smile on her face not just for me but for all others and these same family members believe that she has a problem! she loves to read and draw pictures.. I love my family no matter what and a bleeding heart I am not I just believe that we are at the times mentioned in 2 timothy 3:1-5 and that there is nothing that can be done because we are so far gone in this system of things... Yes I have have met many that are in agreement about the times because they study the bible as I do... and the love of many have cooled off. and we are being delivered up by the love for the GOD of this system and all that he offers those that are blind that that they can not see and deaf that they can not see

Why do Republicans always claim to be so pure and squaky clean but behind closed doors its a whole different story.
I mean just look at Newt Gingrich, who was persucuting Bill Clinton his infidelity while at the same time he was committing adutlery himself. Look at Mark Foley, David Dreier i could go on and on what hyporcrites....

When preparing chicken, I tend to take the skin of it before cooking it. However, doing this leaves my hands greasy. Regular soap doesn't take this residue away well. Dish detergent does for the most part help but it is too strong on my hands. What do you use?

okay this is what happened i had my period 2 weeks ago exactly and today i got up

So my doctor called me today and said the blood test I took a week ago came up positive. He said I have a minor staph infection, he didn't even want me to schedule an appointment or take any antibiotics, I guess because it's so minor. My question is, are there any good home remedies to get it out of my system so it doesn't strengthen?

For several years I have written down Christmas memories, prayers that God has answered, family get-togethers that enriched our lives, holiday meals that were blessed, the true gifts of the season.
This has become a tradition for me, to write these things down, not necessarily for myself but for my children in years to come.
Every year the item that tops my list? Family. My children, husband, my parents, who shared so many Christmas days with us.
Praise God for His wonderful gifts, His Son, His love, His provision-now and forever.
Each year as I review these memories I am drawn closer to Him because I see His work in my life and in the lives of loved ones.
Merry Christmas, blessed peace to all of you who call upon Him for salvation.
