I have the BEST recipe for brownies, well, actually this is a cake that is called Kladdkaka (means mud cake in swedish), I got it from a swedish friend and it's been proved over and over, it's moister that regular brownies and super easy, in half an hour you'll have it done and ready:
Ingredients:
3dl sugar (~1 1/4 cup)
1,5 dl flour (~1/2 cup)
4 tbl cocoa
2 tbl vanilla sugar
2 eggs
100 grams butter (~16 ounces)
Breadcrumbs (about a handful).
Whipped cream (when served).
Instructions:
Pre-heat oven to 185 C / 375 F.
Grease a baking pan and coat with a thin layer of breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Melt the butter on low heat.
In large bowl beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Then add the flour, cocoa, and vanilla sugar.
After all the ingredients are combined, slowly add the melted butter mixing the batter well.
Pour bake mixture into baking pan.
Bake at 185 C / 375 F for approximately 25 to 30+ minutes.
Be sure to check the "brownie" every once in a while, as it can quickly dry out.
It should be very moist and gooey in the middle but firm around the edge.
Best served with a cup of coffe and whipped cream!
Let me know how it worked out for you. Enjoy and happy holidays!!!

Make a sundae or parfait with brownie crumbles. You can also make a terrine with different flavors of ice cream soften and spread into plastic wrap lined pan, sprinkle on the crumbles cover and freeze, add a different ice cream (soften) when it has firmed up, place more brownie crumbles, freeze again then add one last layer of a different flavor and cover and freeze over night.
Next day, remove from the freezer, invert the pan to unmold or just lift it out by the plastic wrap. Place of a flat surface. Slice and serve with a dollop of whipped cream or some chocolate sauce and you will have made a gourmet dessert from failed brownies.

Make it easy on yourself and go out and buy a box of Ghirardelli Double Chocolate brownie mix. Yes, it's a boxed mix, but it's darn well worth it. Best brownies I've ever tasted!
