I'm trying to take a break from dating, but lately I've been hit on a lot and it's getting really irritating.

Wearing baggy clothes doesn't really help. Most days I roll out of bed, get dressed and pull my hair back without really styling it. I hardly ever wear make-up. I really don't see what these guys are seeing because there are way prettier girls out there who are actually trying...

I try not to flirt, but I'll talk to people and laugh at jokes, being friendly, but I try not to be overly friendly or give the wrong impression...

I was thinking of buying a fake engagement ring, but the guy that asked me out today is married, so obviously that's not gonna work completely...

Does anyone know what I can do that doesn't involve changing my personality or looking like a complete dork? I need to look nice for work even though some of these guys are at work. Should I make up a boyfriend and talk about him all the time? What?

Alright, I know, this shouldn't be on the martial arts board, but its the only place I could actually get answers, and if i actually get a good answer this time, i promise never to post any questions like this again on here.
But I have taken a great enjoyment of the TV series Kung Fu with David Carradine, you know, when he was like twenty-seven or something, and I want to know what the given name "Kwai" means. I've looked up "Chang" and know what it means now, but I really want to know, if "Kwai" is a real Chinese name or something unique, and what it means if it's real. Any help is appreciated. I am finishing up my preliminary taxes for 2007. My wife has been unemployed most of the year, and thus our AGI is about half of what it was in 2006. In addition, our itemized deductions are extremely high relative to our income as a result. Our itemized deductions simply consist of our mortgage interest, property taxes and a home equity of line of credit. This should not trigger an audit, should it? Regardless of our employment status we have to pay the taxes & interest.

One can easily look at the return and see my wife was out of work for most of the year (unemployment compensation, then a job which pays about 40% of what she made the last year she worked.).

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years i love him so much, he is my best friend, we have everything in common we are perfectly compatible he loves me with all his heart i feel like we are soul mates he is the perfect match for me when i THINK of everything i want in boyfriend.. but then on the other hand there is my friend that i have known for almost 8 years now.. we have always been the closest friends but we are complete opposites, but for some reason whenever im around him my heart totally melts and its been like this forever and i know he feels the same way about me but he is so wrong for me.. he would make the worst boyfriend he has all the worst habits the partying, the drinking the smoking the flirting all the qualities that my amazing boyfriend doesn't have but for some reason im so attracted to my friend it makes me crazy i dream about him every night. Will the new Sexual Offenses Act take the romance out of being a teenager?

The much debated Sexual Offenses Act - which comes into effect on Monday 17 December 2007 - makes it illegal for two 14-year-olds to kiss.

I'm officially 26, it happened at 1:33am. I won't be celebrating until this weekend. But honestly, what's to celebrate. It only means that I'm that much closer to 30 and still haven't met the right guy. I've gone on dates, but really the selection in this town isn't the greatest. The guys that are attractive, turn out to be completely full of themselves and I really cant stand that. Either that or they are lazy and expect to find someone that is going to take care of them. And I can't have a man that isn't willing to take care of himself.

::Side note:: One of my favorite classic movies is on! An Affair To Remember. Anyway, my question is..... Actually it's non-existant. I have no question, I just wanted to vent and no one I talk to is online right now so I figured why not do it in Y!Answers. It seemed like as good a place as any. I would however like stars ;) It is, after all, my birthday and I'm lonely.

I understand it is somewhat an obligation, but people answer my questions by just dipping their hands into what the Bible offers. The only proof the Bible has as being absolute truth is in the words of the Bible itself and only other Christian interpretations afterwards. Also, why do people--who have also considered themselves atheists--answer questions so sarcastically and not actually think about the question? Are people really this ignorant?

Christians claim that unborn babies will be sent to God as they are not old enough to make a moral decision. But in that case, it means that they have entered heaven without first accepting Jesus! How is that justifiable? You hear Christians stress all day long how crucial it is to accpet Jesus as your saviour, but then it's suddenly ok for unborn babies to get a free pass?

Christians say that you must accept Jesus first in order to be saved, otherwise who knows if you'll rebel against Jesus once you've entered heaven. They claim that, once when you've already accepted Jesus, you will not betray Him for sure. But since unborn babies never accepted Jesus before entering heaven, they might betray Jesus anytime once they've entered! How do you justify that?
