It seems that the Christian Right is predominant in the United States (ie. Republicanism).

Da Ent Wife,

Decisions of which issue you support depends on your ideology.

Fabians will support socialist policies, neoliberals will support issues of free trade.

I'm pretty right wing. I don't care much for tax and spend policies. Maybe that's because I feel the pinch so much on April 15th. I'm self employed, and I get hit hard.

I am also in favor of moral values, and I'd like to be able to watch TV without the sexual innuendos. I can sin enough without the TV's help.

My views on marriage, homosexuality and abortion fit with the Christian Right. But, outside of those, I am sickened by the way some Christians (especially those in the media) demonize liberals and their policies.

I'd call me a "Neither who would cross the street to avoid even eye contact with Christian Right."

If I had to pick one of those two, I'd definitely be part of the Christian Left. I just don't agree with most conservative or right-wing ideas. However, in terms of voting, it's important to remember to vote by the issues at hand, and not by religious dictates.

It seems dominant because their fundamentalism makes them believe they "must" spread the word using other means. The most widespread means is politics.

It's the same way with Muslim fundamentalism. There's actually a lot of moderates. But they don't voice their opinions and it looks like all Muslims are violent if you keep watching TV
