Christians claim that unborn babies will be sent to God as they are not old enough to make a moral decision. But in that case, it means that they have entered heaven without first accepting Jesus! How is that justifiable? You hear Christians stress all day long how crucial it is to accpet Jesus as your saviour, but then it's suddenly ok for unborn babies to get a free pass?
Christians say that you must accept Jesus first in order to be saved, otherwise who knows if you'll rebel against Jesus once you've entered heaven. They claim that, once when you've already accepted Jesus, you will not betray Him for sure. But since unborn babies never accepted Jesus before entering heaven, they might betray Jesus anytime once they've entered! How do you justify that?

God shows mercy to whomever He desires.
We are all saved by the Grace of God alone. Not through our works.
Even Christians... who have recognized their sin and a need for a savior... and finding that savior in Jesus Christ.
God Bless You.

Christians, why do unborn babies get a free pass to heaven without having to accept Jesus as a prerequisite?
- Suprise, surprise, they don't get a free pass. Otherwise God would not have loved Jacob but hated Esau, before they were even born.
Christians claim that unborn babies will be sent to God as they are not old enough to make a moral decision.
- Not all denominations teach this.
But in that case, it means that they have entered heaven without first accepting Jesus! How is that justifiable?
- They will say the kids don't need Jesus. I say they do.
You hear Christians stress all day long how crucial it is to accpet Jesus as your saviour, but then it's suddenly ok for unborn babies to get a free pass?
- Time for a paradigm change then, yes? You are correct.
Christians say that you must accept Jesus first in order to be saved,
- As far as I'm concerned, this is a misguided notion if it takes God to turn your heart around so you can even recognize Him.
otherwise who knows if you'll rebel against Jesus once you've entered heaven.
- Not if you've been His from before the foundations of the world. I would think God has the capability to predestine and keep His own.
They claim that, once when you've already accepted Jesus, you will not betray Him for sure.
- Yes and no. Jesus does not need permission to enter someone's heart, the Holy Spirit doesn't need permission to change someone's heart and life.

You are not speaking for most Christians...as most Christians do not say any of what you claim most Christians do.
You have a very dark view of Salvation and the Love of God I fear.
If you knew that Jesus was slain before the foundation of the World, all of it would make sense for you.
I would try to explain it to you further, however, frankly, if you are in darkness, I do not think you could comprehend it anyway.
If you really want to know, then do the entire scripture in a one year reading plan.

Where in the Bible do you find this doctrine of free passes for the unborn or aborted babies? How would you identify one to know with certainly? You seem very eager to pass judgment against God, and things that you don't understand. God is the author of righteousness and justice. I'm sure He cares more about those lost human lives than you do, and knows how to handle the problem appropriately as He sees fit. Your bigger concern should be where does these unjust accusations leave you?

The acceptance of Christ as your Savior is not to make sure you don't rebel once you get into Heaven.
It's to acknowledge His existence in your life and allow you to be able to enter into Heaven through His acceptance and forgiveness of your sins.
The whole process of being saved and Baptised is replication of what Jesus did before being crucified.
The Bible also says that people are "born into sin", and that's why those who believe must repent their sins and declare salvation.
Since the babies in your question are "unborn", they are not born into sin, so they go to Heaven.
So, I hope this answers your question in regards to the Christian view of unborn children and where they "stand", per se, according to the Bible and Christianity.

you are already born with access to the word of the bible&the choice to understand &accept jesus christ as your savior,an unborn baby is not of sin&lack the ability to use its knowledge yet,so why do you ask?you surly wouldnt want an unborn or newborn baby to go to hell does that sound like that would be fair?,when it has not yet sinned ,or have any understanding of it,we are allGODSchildren we are only here because he created us &all living things, babies grow up &discover good &evil&when a young person knows there is a choice ,to accept JUSUS CRISTas thier savior ,or turn towards sin instead ,then they are old enough to know what it means. An unborn&young children are free of sin ,so there for they are sure to return to heaven. sighned kathy a

Not all christians say that.
I was raised a christian and I was taught that unborn babies and babies who die before being baptised are sent to purgatory. So, according to some christians they don't get into heaven.
Unless christianity has gone the way of the army and decided to become kinder and gentler, I don't think the majority of them agree with what you're arguing.
Oh, and the tribes who have never heard of jesus, no they don't get a free pass either. They're damned by their ignorance. People on here make it out to be all sweetness and light and incredibly fair. That's certainly not what they preach in church or what they tell you in sunday school.

I think the reason is that babies have not sinned nor can they because to sin against God is to make a disicion based on knowledge. But it not only applies to unborn but young children and mentally retarded. that falls under the grace of Jesus Christ. we all have the light of christ that lets us learn to know the difference between right and wrong. Until we get to that piont that we can decide we are innocent.

This is a misconception propagated by the media and most churches (who are about the business of ignorantly creating false converts).
If you read through the Bible (not listen to modern teaching), you will find that people do not go to Hell for not accepting Jesus. (Side note: If I were to commit an offense against my wife, I would not go up to her and tell her that I accept her. Rather, I would repent and ask for *her* acceptance. In the same way, our sin is an offense against God. We do not accept Him; rather, we repent and ask for *His* acceptance.)
Therefore, it is not one's lack of acceptance that puts him or her in Hell. Rather, it is the transgression of God's laws (as all sin is trangression against Him as the Moral Law Giver) and the penalty of that sin is executed in Hell. It is honest, contrition and repentance and trust in Christ that transfers the penalty of sin from oneself to Christ. Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty that the perfect, sinless Lamb of God would shed His blood to atone for the sins of those God accepts.
Read the Bible for yourself and you will find what I am saying is true.
Regarding babies, there are varying degrees of thought. One thought is the concept of the "age of accountability." God knows if a person has the capability to repent based upon his or her capability to understand such thought. If a person dies before they can understand they go to Heaven.
Another thought is that all must repent since everyone is born spiritual dead in their sin since they have a sinful nature (e.g., it is not necessary to teach children to be bad, it is necessary to teach them to be good since it is not innate])... and the conclusion thereof.
There may be more, but those are the two primary ones.
Oh, and Purgatory (though a Catholic concept) is not found in the Bible.

Favor isn't fair but it is fabulous. The point is that you have been given another chance to get your heart write with God. If you can stay focused on Jesus for yourself, I'm sure you'll be alright. Peace be with you.
