I've been humming this old tune that goes 'It's just another manic Monday I wish it was Sunday.. An I don't have to run day...' I have no idea why that song is stuck in my head. U guys know any other songs about Monday?

I just finished reading the book I am Legend the day before I went to the see the movie. How many of you have read the book? Just for entertainment's sake I was happy to overlook the discrepancies between the book and the movie, such as that Neville was not a scientist in the book, Neville didn't have a dog in the book, Neville didn't find the antidote in the book. But I was not ready for the overtly explicit Christian message at the end of the movie. So at the end we find out that God allowed Anna to hear Neville's message over the radio, that God directed her to find Neville, that God allowed Neville to find the antidote, that it was God's plan for Anna to take the antidote to the survivor's colony. Let me know how you feel only if you have watched the movie. I am still in shock!

An antique car has a mass of 585 kg with its riders. It starts from rest and travels to its top speed of 18.4 m/s over a distance of 60.89 m. It drives at this speed for 31 s. It is then allowed to roll to a stop. This takes 10.7 s.

alright i found the acceleration which is 2.78 M/s^2 but i need to know How much force acts on the car at the end to make it stop and What is the coefficient of friction between the car and the pavement? but finding the coefficiant is vital for me to understand... please help.

for finding the force i have been using F=ma but it is not working. i used 585 * 2.78 which is the acceleration but the computer is telling me im wrong.

i am planning to buy PS3. however, im having second thoughts because i found out that original blu-ray games for this is quite expensive. I wanna know if i can download PS3 games from the net, then later on install them to the unit (PS3). Is that possible? if so, please give instructions.. if not, please help me to decide. is it better to buy PS2 since it is less complicated?

another thing i want to ask, can i play ps1 and ps2 games with ps3? how?

Ok, so my friend, who I have had a crush on for a long time, is dating a complete and total jerk. She introduced him to me and he acted the way I did when I was in 6th grade (I am now 21). He insulted an activity I take part in, and then asked me to help him with it. When she walked away, he said, "Get some beers in you, and we'll have some drunken martial arts." From my point of view, this sounds like a fight. I left before anything got out of hand. I don't know what to do. If I tell her about this, she'll just think I'm jealous. If I don't tell her, I am afraid he is going to get violent with her eventually (she said he got into a fight with his roommate before). Please help me. I really have no idea what to do.

There could be other ways to pay for community services. Goods and sales taxes, income taxes, welcome taxes, fuel taxes, pay-per-use fees etc.

I think it's just wrong that somebody who owns his house doesn't really own it and still has to pay to live in it.

There has got to be a solution to protect property rights.

What do you think ?

My wife left me for a while. She came back and we are working on things. We have been back together for only a month. The problem is that i cant seem to let go of what happened. Furthermore, i think she was interested in someone right before she left, and did stuff with this guy while we were going thru our divorce. This really affects me, but there is no concrete evidence. Anyway, i seem to dwell on how much she has hurt me just a couple of months ago. Everytime i bring it up to her she just yells at me, swears at me, and doesnt want to hear anything about it. Like my feelings dont matter, she just says im being annoying, and her heart was broken at the same time. I just feel like i want to express my feelings, so maybe she will help me thru them, but even before i can get a sentence out, she is already on defense yelling at me, tell me to block it out, move on, that i am a crazy person, and that im annoying her. Should i just move on, forget everything, or should she show compassion

I do vounteer work with a Border Collie Rescue group, based out of a working farm. Yesterday I went up into a dis-used loft of a barn to toss down some straw and look at the eletrical wiring, and I found a nest - A HUGE nest - on one of the rafters. Unfortunately, the lighting and angle were bad, so I couldn't get a good image of it.

The nest was a large untidy heap of straw and feathers, about a foot high, and about three feet around. The feathers were light grey, and appeared to be belly feathers - the fluffy, insulating kind, almost downy. The loft is large, open, and well protected from the elements and intruders - Not even the barn cats can get in unless someone deliberately lets them in. The only access is via a pair of ~ 1 foot-square openings at the gable peak, near the hay hoist. There are NO signs of any other kind of bird in the loft, not even barn swallows. I saw no castings.

Could this be a barn owl nest? I hope so, as does the farmer. Any help figuring this out?
