Who promoted these folks past 4th grade? By 4th grade you should have addition and subtraction down - you should even be able to multiply. If you cannot make a budget for yourself you need to find someone who can, right?

It seems odd that folks are focusing on lenders who did actually disclose the consequences of the loan. If these bump up rates were not in the contracts (that were signed by consumers) the lenders would not be able to impliment these rates.

Perhaps the best solution is to not forgive any debt regardless of forclosure or otherwise. Let folks live with the burden and perhaps they will not repeat the mistake. Folks might even teach their kids how to budget.

Folks might also learn that they need to have more than one weeks spare income....to live within your means no matter how much you have.

I would live in a tent (and have) before I borrow more than I can pay.

The lack of basic knowledge amoung a few Americans can have worldwide economic consequences-bad.

Hi,

This is the sort of question I've never questioned myself as I didnt assume it will ever happen to me. I had an accident in UK, where the car, an old car, is not mine but I am insured.
It was my fault as i was queuing in a line, moving slowly was in the first gear, and I have checked something on the GPS while suddenly the other car stopped and bumped into it.
His car was a tough van and only one rear light broken as far as I could observe. The car I was driving ended with both beacons broken plus the plate number and bumper bended/broken and the hood insignificantly affected.
I didnt really know what I have to do, I asked the man if I should call police, said I dont need to, offered me a paper with his name, and we left.

This is just a case but I'd like to know where I can read what I have to do legally in case of accident.

About this case I only wonder how much I would have to pay ?!

Why were trenches created in the first place? Wikipedia states:

Trench warfare arose when there was a revolution in firepower without similar advances in mobility and communications.

Does this mean that the Germans had further technological advantages as they had tanks long before the British?

I currently have a 2000 Malibu LS with almost 152,000 miles on it and the original factory alternator. Had a couple of minor instrumentation problems early on which were fixed with warranty, but other than that just routine maintenance (i.e., tuneups, oil changes, routine visual inspections, etc). Should I get a 2008 Malibu when it comes time to get another? I'm just wondering because my stepsister bought a 2001 Malibu at the same time I purchased my 2000 Malibu, and hers turned out to be a lemon (thousands upon thousands of dollars of repairs including alternator had to be changed out four different times). She had to sell her car at about 75,000 miles for parts because by then it was not driveable.

so i have to write a persuasive 'speech' if you will, about a controversial issue. i choose to do plastic/cosmetic surgery among women, and how it perpetuates the idea of women as sex symbols when they get bigger boobs or thicker lips or all of these things. do you think this is good to write about? i need to back it up with statistics, but i haven't found any that i think relate on google, what would be some pros/cons of getting these surgeries.

by the way, i mean surgery for purely aesthetic reasons. not for anything related to health beacuse that's completely different.
