Hated may be a strong word. But Paul McCartney is not only a Beatle, and thus one of the most beloved figures in popular culture, but he's also one of the most charming men alive.
An ex-wife is never going to win a public relations contest with that sort of person. And she shouldn't try.

sh is not perfect none of us are but she does not deserve the hatred that is directed towards her
