E is the event that both rolls are even.
F is the event that the first roll is a four. (The elements of F are (4,1), (4,2), (4,3), etc.)
G is the event that the sum of the numbers on the dice is 7.
Which two events are mutually exclusive?
Pick one:

My daughter is 17 and is very interested in possibly going to school for music producing. She and her friends have their own band and want to record and mix their own music. I thought this would be a good chance for her to try some of her own mixing and producing but I don’t really know much about it. I was hoping someone can give me some ideas of some inexpensive equipment I can buy her for Christmas to get her started?
Any Ideas??

My wife, after seven years of on and off the bottle, cheating, drug abuse, hospitalizations for everything under the sun, and knowing she had nothing to offer me, gave me a green light to have sex outside of the marriage. Late this past summer, she got clean and began doing very well, and she asked me at that time to forego the green light and to give her another chance. (I gave her a last chance last year/we are only together for the kids and finances) Well, I reluctantly gave in, but as far as I am concerned, since then, she has shown me nothing. She never initiates affection, refuses sex, and is still on an emotional roller coaster, and still plays the victim whenever I give the slightest criticizm. I aam about to tell her just forget the whole thinga nd be friends and turn the green light back on. Don't you agree that if she wants more that its her who has to make the effort? (Believe me, my efforts have been endless)

It is a touchy subject. But I think that because of the lack
of communication, especially in the US, is the reason
why we see so much racial tension. I always thought that
the church should be the group that brings the community
together. But often at times, we have done more damage
than good. Sunday the most segregated day, of the week.
So they say. It is ashame, when we can't even serve
God, in the same room. Which says a lot about why we
see all the racial hoop la, in modern times. But back to
my question. We realize that people tend to say well
if Abe Lincoln freed the slaves, Conservatives are for
people of color. Or if the president hires, Blacks and
Hispanics, then he must not be a racist. Even if there are
racist overtones, from the so called Christian Right.
So do Whites see race in a different light, than Blacks ?
Best answer wins.

not so much your beliefs, because that's really a personal thing, but is there anything you'd change about the way some of your fellow christians act, things the church does on your behalf, or political stands, etc?

I mean they did a through background search including credit history, bank account information, employment and driving history as well as a criminal background search.

How would you feel if that was done to you?

Sure many of us would not hesitate to do it on someone else, but if someone did it to you, would you feel violated? Did they go too far? Would you think they were gold diggers since they wanted to see financial records?

Is there something in your past that can be taken out of context without an explanation from you if someone checked you out?

Hi, i'm having troubles starting with the following chem question:
Balc'd. equation: 4Au(s) + 8CN-(aq) + O2(g) + 2H2O (l) -> 4[Au(CN)2]-(aq) + 4OH-(aq)
How many liters of 0.22M NaCN solution would be needed to extract the gold from 1000kg of rock, if the rock is 0.063% gold by mass?

Any tips/suggestions would be great :)

It's funny that Darth asked this question, because this is something I've had discussions about with friends recently, and it's something I've been wondering about:

Now I'm not necessarily referring to protest songs or something war-related, but what is the *most recent* song that you can think of that brings any social issue to the table and tries to affect change in the environment that's affected?

A few years ago, I was selling a solution manual on ebay and then it was taken of of ebay and I got a letter from the publisher of the book whos solution manual I was selling. He said this was copyright infringement and so they could take me to court over this. They are in USA and I am in Canada.

The letter started by telling me about the copyright laws. Then it said that we can settle this matter without the inconvenience of a lawsuit.

Here is what he said:

Most Evangelical pastors and missionaries have a great deal of training in counselling- as they frequently have to interact with people in crisis situations. Are lay pastors (as bishops would be) equipped to recognize and help when people are troubled? At what point do bishops- (who are called by the Bible to shepherd the flock) intervene? If someone misses a week or two at my church the pastor follows up to make sure everything is ok. In the situation in the link below- do you think anybody followed up with this young man to make sure he was ok?

If Bishops don't have counselling training- would the church be open to requiring that their bishops get training in Biblical counselling?

Of course, this situation can occur in any church. I just want to know if Bishops can really have enough time for their flock while working full-time on the outside. http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,69...
