Yes. A Christian these days, is just a word, a title. I want there to be NO church, at all. What churches are now, is NOT what Christ intended a "church" to be.
Churches are political, and money, and power hungry. They have a government of their own within the church.
Christ said Himself, if more than 2 are joined, it is a church, including Himself. That means ONE Christian, and Jesus Christ. He also said, "You need no teacher".
He is the Lord, not any man.
I tend to believe Jesus Christ, and the things He has said. NOT any "preacher". Jerry Falwell (maybe there is a "hint" in his name (( Falwell))?) and his ilk.
Christ also said anyone who loves Him, has a personal relationship with Him. I don't think he meant only if you talk to a "pastor" of a "church", in a building with a cross on it's roof. He literally meant, "Come to Me, my children, only I shall set you free."

Dear friend, yes, unfortunately the church today is too occupied with their programs, instead of the Word of God, also the system of organisation and the importance of religious forms and customs together with unscriptural practices which includes creeds and dogmas and the system of denomination together with worldiness which has choked the zeal of love for service and obedience to the Word of God and towards others! People have become preoccupied with themselves or their church or organisation! Christians need an individual born again experience and Word based walk with God first in their personal lives in order to be of spiritual blessing and encouragement to others and in order to grow, and for this to happen, each believer must know their true place in Christ Jesus! Rev. Joseph.

I wish the church as a whole did not look so similiar to the popular culture. I wish the church as a whole would live like they really believed what they claim to believe. I wish the church as a whole sincerely devoted themselves to prayer, learning God's word and applying to their lives obediently. I wish the church as a whole would be commited to sharing the gospel with the lost.

I went by way of catechism classification for Lutheranism, and as factor one states I completely agree and its inevitable. maximum faith is extra approximately community and belonging and a good number of the variations are small and in specific circumstances unimportant. yet so a ways as Catholics and Protestants flow, they had plenty extra in problem-loose after the reformation however Catholics have extra traditions the Protestants did no longer trust or theory weren't mandatory. even though it is going to instruct the religion is extra a private standpoint and a few individuals are extra impressionable and open to diverse thoughts than others. individually i could no longer stay by utilising a single e book for all my morals, it makes extra problem than i think would desire to be suffered for an suitable that leaves too plenty room for interpretation. yet all in all i'm no longer plenty at a loss for words by utilising Christianity as i'm adversarial to the perception equipment its consistent with. It brings out the final and worst in human beings and that's all you are able to assume.

I don't know how it is elsewhere, but for American Christianity, I wish the culture of *required* cheerfulness would disappear. I *really* believe that transparency is part of the whole gig. After all, the entire thing is based on your admitting that you need a saviour --- but seems like after that you have to act like you're perfect and don't need anything.
I can think of few things more harmful --- and nothing more irritating.

YES! How about we shove religion in a box and throw it out of the Church! Religion is ripping apart the Church. If you want to read more about my thoughts on the state of the church, read my State Of The Church blogs on my myspace profile - www.myspace.com/the_real_slim_shady77
We need to live as the Bible teaches ...not how man teaches!

Yeah...I would be in church every day if it were possible to send atheists into the afterlife just to test their belief that God doesn't exist...

I wish the true church, Christ's, the church of Christ, was not constantly confused with disobedient and blasphemous catholicism. I've seen that a lot and I'm sick of it - catholicism is smearing Christ's name by using it with their evil practices and wickedness.
