I have to do this game board project and my board is going to be the periodic table. Each element is a different space. I need ideas for how to move up spaces on the note cards. For example, one might be your atomic mass increased, move up 2 elements.

i grew up on us/can. border, very close to Ottawa. Im an American, and love my country. Im reading lots of things from people who obviously have never been to Canada. I played hockey all my life, but as a kid, we had few rinks to practice at. They graciously gave us ice time, and invited us to play every year in their leagues, tournaments, etc. I played div.1 in college, and would never have w/out the skills. ive seen awsome concerts, "blue rodeo' ,,, got arrested on st. catherines st., Stones at the sky dome.. brador and sleemans in the cooler, and make it home w/ a little north slope jaboobie left. rideau canal, shania, landsdown pk,, im so glad theyre our neighbors, we are lucky to have them.. what other country would we want next to us??

I'm not a native speaker of English, so I don't find this "phrase", if you will, make a lot of sense to me. Can you explain?

On a forum, I read this popular phrase "got them hands" (aka got dem handz"). I have no idea what that means...maybe this one is out of context but here's are few more examples

Them flies are huge
Them birds got long feathers
basically, "them (something) is (something)"

What's up with using "them" in the first word of the sentence? Is it just a slangy way to say "those" flies are huge, for example?

I was in Japan last summer, and I remember especially in the purikura (photo booths) that there was some really sweet techno music playing. Today, I look across a blog with some similar music, but I can't find anything like this? Is there a specific genre of techno that I'm missing?

Okay, so the actual property belongs to my grandmother and she would like to know how much tax she will have to pay if she sells it. The people from real estate say she can get $450,000.
