A 10-year old aboriginal girl got gang-raped by 6 men in Australia. The rapists got NO prison sentences. Only 12 month probation.

What are your feelings about this?

1)The aboriginal girl didnt provoke the rape, she was innocent just 10 years old.
2) There were no prison/jailed sentence at all for the RAPISTS! Raping a 10 year old innocent girl. The sentences in the Australian case fly in the face of Australian law and public opinion.

She's having surgery today. Her and my brother just can't get pregnant and she's had two miscarriages now. She's having surgery today because her tube is getting bigger and they need to see why.
The thing is these are really GOOD people and they deserve a baby and would make the best parents. My heart goes out to them. I ask for your prayers and bless them in this trying time of their lives.

I just read a question by another woman who asked about things to avoid that could "kill" her unborn baby. I understand the typical "avoid fish often" "dont smoke, drink, do drugs" "no raw meats" etc etc. But seriously some of the responses floored me! If these things are true I'm in trouble :)

No lunchmeat? Seriously? I've been eating that...no one told me otherwise.
No Mayo? Really? I've been eating that too
No bowling? Come on! I don't throw anything heavier than an 8 lb ball!
No soft cheeses? What other kind of cheeses are there?

I recently seperated from my husband of 2 years. It was not a good marriage as he was into cocaine and would not come home many nights and would turn his phone off after I would try calling him. Shortly after moving out I started dating someone I had been friends with since the 3rd grade. Long story short, things moved fast and I am now pregnant. My soon to be ex-husband knows about the news. I'm wondering if anyone has been (I know it's a unique situation) in this situation or if they know of anyone who has, and how it all turned out? I was watching the news minutes ago and i saw that they were glorifying a father and his 4 yr old son hunting and killng a 400 lb bear. They took pictures of the boy sitting on the bear with a smile on my face and I am thinking, " You know that bear just lost his life right?" But I guess some animals are more important than others. We can cut of the bears had and post it on the wall.

hi there, first off thankyou for helping me out.. Heres the thing.. I go to the gym about 4-5 times a week been doing so recently for the past two months.. I get to the gym.. strentch a bit only.. and jump straight to my workout.. weather is benching or curling.. the thing is when i do the first set of exercise say Bench i get a sharp pain in the back of my head and doesnt go away.. its horrible pain. I don't think is excessive weight that im doing because is only my body weight.. 170pounds or so. It even happens if i suddently go do pushups after not having workout at all that day. What could it be? please help. I assume is the fact that im doing sudden exercises after being rested and not having a proper warmup? Pls help is horrible. Ty

need advice do you think it is right to let girls wrestle or to say no just cuz of gender. I asked the coach of my high school team and he said if i wanted to join that he would more than likely say no b/cuz the other teams would forfeit and it would be pointless to be on the team. i just want to prove that girls can do it. ive been training with a district winner and i think i would be good enough but would the coach let me join or say no b/cuz gender????? Ok before I get a bunch of hate comments, if you don't agree with me don't bash me or my choices, just make your own and then explain:

This will happen for a few main reasons, the vikings are one fire right now and any sports fan knows its not about what you did in the beginning of the season it is what you are doing at that moment, no other team in the NFL can run like the vikings and can stop the run like the vikings (#1 in both) we have the most defensive touchdowns and are averaging +2 takeaways for the season. Now that Jackson is playing way better and not injured you can't really stop our pass and with the best runningback tandem ever (Peterson, Taylor), our defensive mentality is to hold the rush to 30 yards and as long as our secondary keeps playing the way they have been, i believe the vikings win out the rest of the season along with the pats and it will be one of the best superbowls in years.....What are your predictions?

I read an article urging atheists to declare victory on certain issues and move on. The author said that any time spent debating evolution or biblical errors is wasted because these are established facts.

What consequences would this have brought to today's political picture? Would Mexico have been a different nation or pretty much the same?
Serious answers please, this was a discussion a group of friends had recently and the conclusions we came to were very interessting, i want to see if this view is shared by more people.

Remember that meximilian ahd very progressive ideas that put him in conflict with the conservatives that had brought him to mexico initially, France deserted him because he didn't want to follow napoleon III's project for mexico, and ended up alone and against the lawful republican government of juarez who defeated him and executed him militarily by firing squad. What lessons this episode of history give us?
