I totally agree..Like I was watching something on the NatGeo (national geographics) channel about bull fighting. and how the matadors kill the bulls, and then ppl bid on the bulls, after they are killed. and I was just so disgusted by it..i mean, you just basically slaughtered an animal. took it's life..ya know..it's crazy..Mike Vik just got 2yrs for dog fighting. what they don't understand is, it's the same crap ppl do when they kill chickens, cows, goats, pigs, fish, etc.

To be honest, I think it's all sick Deers, Bears, ect. All animals should be treated the same. I think Michael Vick is a sick *** for hurting innocent animals. It's sad that he got that low. I wish he would have got more jail time than 23 months! But I guess people see Dogs more of a pet than the other animals because they are wild. I don't know how anybody could do that to any of the animals, they must be heartless to sit down and shot a bear or any other type of animal for no reason. It's sick.

Lol. we don't put 2 bears in a cage and tell them to go to town. or can u imagine 2 deers? that would be interesting. but still...
Dog fighting is much different from hunting. I mean...if it was really about an animal loosing its life there would be no mcdonalds, u kno what im saying?
Dog fighting is a lot more inhumane...

think about this...
why did indians hunt? they were hungry.
only in a merica do we wake up, eat a huge breakfast, put on all kinds of camoflauges and then go sit in a hidden deer stand with out snacmks, that s heated by the way, and stare at a deer feeder that goes off at the same time every morning so the deer know to be there.
hunting for sport in any way, shape, or form is a hideous nature and should be outlawed. as far as dogfighting and then eating... that is one step above hunting for sport so that makes it all the ore hideous in my opinion

We don't eat our pets. I'm not for killing any animal, but I do realize that certain animals need to be culled so the terrain and other wildlife can flourish. Apparently there was no ban on bear hunting where the photo was taken. I would prefer the father would teach his son to hunt with a camera rather than a gun, but to each his own.

Hunting kills animals quickly. Dog fighting causes the animals to suffer. Huge different there. So no, dog fighting would not be legalized even if the dogs were eaten.

There is a difference between Domestic and Wild Animals.
Bears are OK to be killed, and they taste good too. I wouldn't think dogs would taste that good, and I would never try to eat one. I have killed lot's of things. I will not list them, some might get mad. All my family hunts and so do I, so I am used to it. Everything dies some day.

Iit is a disgrace to kill an animal for the sake of killing it. Dogs are very loyal to man and they shouldn't be put to figjht, never mind eating them afterwards, these people are sick, I wonder if they were in that situation, What would they think?

dog fighting is somewhat different, don't you think?
these dogs are starved, even tortured prior to fights.
these men are hunters who actually serve a purpose to nature; this same nature is monitored by civil servants that our taxes pay for.
Hunting brings in over $61 million dollars in revenue to the state of Vermont.
a lot of agency's that help people count on that money.
tough call for some, maybe, but i see differences.

If a bear was given the chance, he'd probably kill and eat a human. Most dogs are friendly, and are known as 'mans best friend'. A man killing someone who might possibly mean him harm is not as awful as a man killing his best friend. Dogs are domesticated, and have stood beside mankind for ages. It is distasteful to kill one. Even if you ARE a famous football player.
