I've been an associate at Panera Bread for about 6 months and my little sister has been there for over a year. For your interview, wear slacks and a nice shirt... definately no jeans.
The uniform is "solid colored pants" (usually khaki or black) and a polo shirt (solid color). You have to have closed toe/heel shoes (no crocs), but definately get non-slip shoes. You have to have shirt tucked in and a belt on. The apron and hat/visor they will give you.
As for what to expect, your first few days are somewhat overwhelming. There's a huge menu and alot to learn, but it's not bad. I was cross-trained in all areas within a month or so. Your first few days will be training, so you'll be working directly with another person. The job itself isn't hard once you get the hang of it. Good luck!

Don't ever wear jeans to an interview. For Panera, a pair of nice slacks with a dress shirt is OK.
Good luck.

I would say wear some casual pants or nice jeans with a nice shirt. They aren't too fancy there, yet you want to look nice for your interview. You could probably get away with wearing sneakers if you don't want to wear dress shoes. Panera Bread... yummy!

I don't know about a uniform but you should expect to be working with the customers, whatever they have you doing. If you really want the job don't go in wearing blue jeans. A pair of nice dress slacks and a nice shirt will be fine. You don't have to wear a suit.

Panera bread is a lot of work, make sure you know that before you start.
For your interview wear something casual, but nice looking. NO JEANS.
Panera's uniform is dress pants or kacki pants with no side cargo pockets and a shirt with a collar.
They give you the hat/apron, but you have to provide the shirt, shoes and pants.

Panera is a lot of work...i hope that the management is good where you are applying. if they scheduled you for an interview that means they are probably pretty organized. i was hired on the spot and i got screwed. i quit after 1 month. just make sure you can stand working around food and grumpy customers...and that you don't mind cleaning a lot of stuff.
