Pope Pius IX Defines Immaculate Conception as Dogma (on THIS day, December 8th, in 1854) exactly 153 years ago today.

The Immaculate Conception is often confused with the Virgin Birth of Jesus, though the two Christian doctrines deal with entirely different events.

The Immaculate Conception asserts that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was preserved from the stain of original sin at the moment of her conception, was filled with grace by God, and lived her life completely free from sin.

This was decided by the Catholic church. I'm notsure where fundamental bible believing protestants will find proof of that in Holy Scriptures.

Can you quote chapter and verse for Mary's unexplainable devine sinlessness? If it is true, and I doubt that, did sinlessness continue after His birth?

The "Virgin Birth", on the other hand, asserts what about the conception of Jesus?

For that matter, where does the Word of God say that Josep's wife Mary STAYED a virgin, as Catholics do teach?

we have some old tile in our home that we would like to either replace or cover with laminate or wood flooring. the problem is the floor is visably not level and we have joist issues as well which are making the floor look wavey. my qestion is... could we put some type of wood flooring over top or shoud we take out the tile first?

My littile sister keeps on lossing her balance and falls down, she is 20 years old and 10 weeks pregnant.she has a pain in her back neck and head, she was at the hospital and they sent her back home, when she is in bed she gets some bad neck pain but when she stands up she gets dizzy, I also noticed that her eyes aren`t straight. She used to vomit all the food she ate but during her hospital stay, vomitting stopped immediately. Please help

Every day wee meet many people, we talk with them, we move with them. Is any tool to know whether any one is mentally sick ? One of my well known person was recently arrested for murder charge. He was very good to me, very helpful to me. till his arrest I did not know that he is like that. Psychiatrists have diagnosed him Schizophrenic.

and my car won't drive away from a stop sign. It goes in reverse but won't drive. So, I get a ride to the coffee shop where I am now and I have to weigh my options. Do I?
a) Have the car towed to my house in hopes someone can fix it?
b) Have it towed to the auto repair shop where they will charge me an arm and a leg to fix (which I don't have.
c) Ask Santa to fix it for me in his spare time
d) curl up into a ball and pray it all goes away?
