Flintstones vitamins for babies? Um, yeah...you can always tell who DOESN'T have kids on here.
As someone else said, all a child needs for the first year of life is breastmilk. Any solids are just for practice, but aren't necessary.

Glad anyone is giving you any information you don't already probably know. I also would like some links, books, etc. that helped people with nutrition for babies. My son is almost seven months old and I have found there is not alot of information out there about food. We all know breastmilk is great, but babies do need to eat food sometime and it would be helpful to know what they should and shouldn't be eating and at what stage. I have also found that unless you are buying the organic foods, alot of it has alot of junk in it that I don't want to feed my son. I really like Earth's Best foods. They have whole grain cereals and no added junk. I have noticed that alot of Gerber stuff has added juice concentrates and other things I don't want my son to have. So if anyone does have any good information to read or go on a website, I would like to know also!

all the perfect nutrition they need is in breast milk.

as far as solids go, many people give their infants rice cereal ..... it has NO nutrition. they should just start eating regular baby food at 6 months.
