Well I am writing another good story, so I need some information from people that live in New York. What is the poorest part of Manhattan, I know upper east is rich but what is the poorest part? I am talking about rundown bars, nearly condemned apartment buildings, kinda unsafe, and slums. I am writing this into my story so I need some information. So far I have parts where one character lives in the rich part of Manhattan. So I need more info please.

I have a Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door opener.. Recently, it stopped working. When pushing the button, it sounds like it trying to open, but it doesn't do anything. After that, it starts making a clicking noise and blinking, 10 times, I believe.

The garage door has no sensors, it never has, and we've had it for many years.

Does anybody know what could be wrong with it? How to fix it? Anything?

Is it humane/legal/acceptable to put a dog on the back of a truck? I just saw a truck with a dog on the back, but for the first time, the dog was in a cage. Any other time I've seen a dog on the back of the truck, he was running around loose. I don't even like dogs, but I hate seeing them sliding on the back of trucks. Isn't that dangerous? I'm pretty sure that's how most of the dead dogs on the freeways got there.

This was a special, it aired in the late 1980's. It started with a young rodent asking his grandfather how they got the house. The Grandfather proceeded to tell him a story. There were two human armies, they had WWII type bombers, but worse WWI uniforms with gasmasks. You saw none of their faces. One side was the Vegetarians the other the Meat Eaters. The fought each other until only two guys were left. One was wounded and he shot the other human, and then slid to his own death into a bomb crater full of water.
The grandfather said that is how we got our houses, and it zoomed out and there was a village of human helmets that had been turned into houses.

Ok, whether you believe it's anthropogenic or not (and it is), global warming is happening. I've been reading a lot of questions that point to Antarctica and saying that there this year saw a record growth in area of the Antarctic ice sheet (not to be confused with the ice pack).
So, here's a riddle for you. Can you think of a reason why the ice sheet could grow to a record size in the face of global warming?

I'm in the process of a divorce and have two little boys, ages four and six. He's got a girlfriend, and I HATE that I was replaced so soon after he moved out (ten days after he moved out, she slept over). We have split custody (a 4-day rotation).

I KNOW it's a bad idea for me to get into a relationship at this point. I still care about him and the divorce isn't final yet. I don't need to get attached to anyone right now, and I REALLY dont' think our kids should be getting attached to anyone else right now.

But on my four days off, I pretty much just go to work, come home and do nothing all night. A guy friend asked me out, and I told him I'd think about it. I know I don't need a serious or sexual relationship right now, and it would not be something I would let my kids know about, much less bring around them. Would it be just as bad an idea for me to go out on a date as it would for me to get into an ill-advised relationship at this point?

I’m having a problem with my face book profile. Remember the app that shows all the friends on your face Book profile that updated itself every moment you add or remove a friend? I’m not talking about the Top Friends or the Entourage apps, just the ‘Friends’ app. But my friends are still there.
