The upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus.
Consider the following verses from the Upanishads :
i) Ekam evaditiyam
"He is One only without a second"
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1
ii) Consider again, the following verses from the Upanishads :
Na casya kasuj janita na cadhipah.
"Of Him there are neither parents nor Lord"
[Svetasavatara Upanishad 6,9] [ 2part II page 263.]
iii) Consider the following verses from the Upanishads :
Na tasya pratima asti
(There is no likeness of Him.)
[Svetasvatara Upanishad chapter 4:19]
Nainam urdhvam na tiryancam na madhye na parijagrabhat
na tasy pratime asti yasya nama mahad yasah.3
"There is no likeness of Him whose name is great glory".3
[The principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan pg 736 & 737]
[Sacred Books of the East, volume 15, the Upanishad part II page no 253]
Nature looks like this well crafted job done by ONE and not many. The fact that He is ONE, is evident from the perfection in the creation otherwise we would have come across lot of contradictions in nature itself. When too many cooks are involved the dish is only spoiled. RIGHT?

All of God's perfections and attributes are united into one perfect essence and being; the who God is. The 3 atoms of a water molecule are 3 distinct realities united in one simple perfect being. when i was 9 God showed me the water molecule is an icon of the mystery of the Holy Trinity being one God. The 2 hydrogen atoms signify the co-equal Father and Son. The oxygen atom signifies the Holy Spirit who unites them into one.
Thus the artist has his signature in every water molecule in the universe but who sees it?

God is one, irrespective of what or whether or not you beleive. take your own life, everyone agrees that you have one life to live, when you die, you will be nothing here on this earth, what if? Yeshua= Jesus Christ was right, even Islamic Faith muslims beleive Jesus Christ is alive and in the presence of God and is coming back again,Christians beleive the same, Jews beleive true Messiah is yet to come, in the essence, Jesus Christ is coming.Hindus talk about reincarnation in their faith, destiny plays a role, you are part of a food chain in every birth and many twisting theories to back it up,enough to deny and devoid you of experiencing the True Salvation, which is the Goal and Hidden Agenda of Satan/Lucifer/enemy/The evil one/Yamraj. No one can come to God without God's Grace and beleive whatever you want to beleive and Be Happy,Don't Worry, Live and Let Live.

our dimension is thought to be three in one. 1D space still has time. same with 2D and 3D space so we have 3 dimensions wrapped up in time. Same with the human. We have knowledge a spirit (extra dimensional) and a physical body. Yet we are one. here is something else that might help
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jhn 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Jhn 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jhn 1:15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
John 14:6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jhn 14:7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Jhn 14:8Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jhn 14:9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?
Jhn 14:10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Jhn 14:11Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

Very good posts everyone.
God is one, its fact. It's said in the Bible, the quuran (sp.) and the bhagavad-gita/shrimad bhagavatam. He can however create as many forms, avatars and energies as He likes because they are all a part and parcel of the supreme whole. This is not like material energy.
Think of a Pie. In material world, you can cut a pie to pieces and each piece is just a "part". But God is spiritual. God can become many "pie peices" but each piece is a whole like Him. I hope this helps.

God is one. Only One. Each religion has there own interpretation.
They believe in the way they r.
Wen reading bible, it is written as only one god is there. While a hindu read geetha, its also written in that only one god exists. And same as in Quran.
If im a hindu reading geetha, i wil believe krishna is the only god or Shiva is the god.If im a muslim and reading Quran, i come to understand that there too only one god.
Same as in Bible.Al r same, Al wording r same only the people differs. Its human interpretation..........

John 10:30 says "I and the Father are one."
The Creator- God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Jesus Christ- God is Jesus Christ, the incarnate who came to live as a man. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The Holy Spirit- God is the Holy Spirit. He is co-equal with the Father and Jesus Christ. He is alive and at work in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He can provide each Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives believers spiritual gifts. We hold to subsequent powerful experiences with the Holy Spirit distinctive from the salvation experience. We believe that all of the New Testament gifts of the Spirit are as true today as they were when the New Testament was written. As Christians we seek to live under His gracious control and in His power daily. The Holy Spirit can move uniquely and powerfully if allowed.

The country is one .But it has thousands of things that make it ..One who gives birth to some baby is known as mother in English. But there are thousands of words that refer to the mother in different languages in the world .But all refer to a particular character .
Now consider this also.Scientists have found out hat all things in the world have been crated out of the same fundamental particles .It is true .so we have millions of things in the world. All of them if reduced to their basic and fundamental components would end up in Electrons and protons ( held together by neutrons) only. All the things that display different characteristics , shapes and qualities are all made of the same things .Millions of dots make a picture and many pictures of different things .But the dots that make the different kinds of pictures are all of the same kind , shape and size. But their arrangement makes all the differences .When people look at the same thing from different angles , they see different shapes ; but of one and the same thing.only.
