I'm not a photographer. I use photography as a tool for my work (painting).

I want to set up a part of my art studio for this purpose and I want to buy a small amount of medium quality lighting equipment.
I mostly use directional lighting as I like shadows, but a smaller secondary light source would be good too, so there could be some detail and reflection in the shadows.
Generally I like a warm highlight and a very dim blueish or cool secondary light source.
I haven't done this in a long time and I used to use transparency film, but now I will be working in digital.
Can anyone recommend some suitable lighting equipment for me and possibly give me an online link to a sensible setup scenario ? I realise I'm going to need adjustable stands to raise and lower the lights, which I have to be able to swivel around to get shadows how I want them.

etc. colliding into each other? Maybe I have the starting point a little mixed up but isn't that about the way it went? Question: If that is about the way things started, why isn't it continuing that way? All kinds of matter, energy, molecules, and more come into contact with each other all the time, so why don't we have explosions going off around us all the time? Wouldn't the world be a continuing atomic bomb? They were able to drift onto a sandbar, but were quite stranded.

They could see the shore, but could also see fins of sharks between themselves and the mainland.

The doctor said "I'd try to swin to shore, but if I were to lose my life, the world would suffer a great loss at my death."

The engineer also expressed that to put his valuable skills at risk would be a loss to mankind.

The lawyer said, "Hey, relax guys, I'm all over this." At which time he immediately took off his shirt and his shoes, and jumped into the water and swam the short distance to land.

Within the hour the three men were being rescued. The doctor and the engineer were somewhat ashamed at their lack of courage, but puzzled at the bravado and courage of the lawyer.

Finally the doctor broke the silence and asked the lawyer how he knew the sharks wouldn't eat him.

Without missing a beat, the lawyer snapped back "Oh, that's easy . . . it's just a matter of professional courtesy."

My therapist advertises for doing hypnosis and when I am in session sometimes I feel like I'm 'under the influence' of hypnosis. How can I do a self-test to know? and is there a way to snap out of it on my own? He always tells me to look in the mirror at the end to say I'm beautiful but I don't know if that has to do with snapping out of it?

I am writing a blog regarding a million bad experiences I've gone through with a cat breeder. I have left out the breeder's business name to protect myself but I think that people should be aware that this is a bad breeder. I have some training in the use of the fabrics already. If I can simply purchase the fabric at my local fabric store, that would be great, but I'm thinking that I'll end up having to purchase the fabric through a company that deals with aerial acrobatics supplies. Well...obviously the computers are "smarter" in some areas, than us(the humans...). A computer could be unbeatable in chess and all written world books could be stored on a simple personal computer. The greatest challenge however in the AI development, is how to force a computer to take it's own decisions, just like a human being??? The computer is alwaus limted in its "source code", thus unable to make own decisions...

I am sure the idea doesn't depend only on software developers, but a work in the areas of mathematics, biology, philosophy would be crucial in the future of the AI, to say the least.

So, what do you think? How far we are from a REAL ARTIFICIAL :) intelligence.

In early Japanese culture, should a samurai be captured in battle ( or have any other disgrace tarnish his name), he would have the opportunity to take his sword and commit suicide. This "courageous" act (seen as such because it usually is a difficult thing to do) would redeem the samurai and bring honor back to his name. Should he hesitate, he would be beheaded and have dishonor tarnish his name for eternity.


In (primarily, but not limited to) Christian society, suicide is an unforgivable sin because it casts away God's precious gift of life. It is seen as cowardly because they see it as an escape from problems which the person would not overcome. The sinner would forever burn in hell wallowing in their torment.



Knowing these two sides of the subject. what do you think????

(1)^2 = (-1)^2 {squaring both sides (square of -1 is also 1) }

1 = -1 {taking root on both sides}

(1) +4 = (-1) +4 {adding a constant 4 on both sides}

I have mood swings, depression, outburst of crying, severe pain in my stomach, food cravings. I have dreams about me being pregnant and labor and I walked with this guy to a resturant and sat down outside in a chair. I had a vision about me holding a 3-4 year old black girl with my family in an airport setting sort of and she called me Mommy. I was stat raped 4 years ago by a black man. I am stressed because I am not getting my period. I did not have sexual intercourse within the last month. Though he did rub his penis around there. I did not see anything that would look white to me like ***. I was extermely upset and thats why that happened. My boyfriend means the world to me. He treats me like his Queen and I love that. I want to get married to him and have children. I am hoping to stay with him soon. I just do not feel right. I go to a therapist but thats not working. I feel like no one will listen to me.
