I'm a college student and I didn't go to first half of the class today. But I knew I have a quiz/test in second of the class, so I went to take a test. Professor was PISSED and told me I might fail the class.
What...? This was my first absent, and I've always been a good student. I was late for the class a few times, but I wasn't VERY late. Also, my grade so far is aroun B/B+, which isn't bad at all.

Was she serious? I do think I'm a hard working student.

So, do you guys think my teacher is just crazy or am I doing something wrong?

Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed an energy bill that included a $21 billion tax on domestic energy producers. The Senate is now considering the same bill!

Taxes on energy production actually work against energy security and increase imports, as domestically produced energy becomes more expensive than imported supplies. Policies that act as disincentives for oil and natural gas production will ultimately hurt businesses and consumers by driving supply down and prices up.
DECREASE DOMESTIC ENERGY PRODUCTION
Increasing taxes on U.S. companies will effectively ensure that they will have less money available to reinvest in exploration, new technology and refining improvements that will help to meet more of our present and future energy needs with domestic energy supplies.
GRANT A SUBSIDY TO FOREIGN ENERGY PRODUCERS
If Congress places additional taxes on domestically-produced energy, the net effect will be the creation of a subsidy for foreign competitors. Congress should be taking steps to help make American businesses more viable in the world market ? not less.

I am wanting to redo our kitchen, but we are on a tight budget and we have everything worked out except the backsplash which is an ugly white and cranberry color. I would just remove the tiles, but they were laid down before the cabinets were installed so they go up behind them. I am a doing this all myself and looking for any suggestions on any neat or creative ways to cover it up so it will look good!

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 6 months. We are living together, things were going well until last week he decided he wanted space but did not want to break-up. He made it pretty clear that it wasn't me it was him and that he has to better himself so that he can one day give me the things I want. He is 36 and I am 27. Can anyone tell me what exactly he means by this? And what is a good way to make this work? He still wants to see me and talk to me but not live together for right now.

I just took a suitcase and left - everything else is still at the house.

He is very stressed about work, bills and money

He is the one that calls me and says he misses me and loves me

And swears to GOD he doesnt want to date anyone else.

Should I give into him wanting to see me? Or should I just say you wanted space and seeing me isn't giving you your space?
And let him figure it out with out me around?

I am 23 years old, a mother of two, and wife of a wonderful deployed Army soldier. My question is how to develop an interpersonal relationship with God. I need him in my life so badly and for years I've been battling with myself on trying to live right then falling back into the trap of living wrong. I try to sincerely pray to God but I wonder if I'm being sincere enough. I really want to change my life for the better and raise my kids and teach them about God, but I don't even know the direction of where my life is taking me. It's like I'm in a blank state of mind sometimes and I don't know what to do next. I'm tired of being this way so can someone please offer me some words of advice or encouragement that will help. I've even subscribe with televangelist websites but you always have to "pay"for an answer with them. So please help me. Thank you so much!

I've tried everything I know how to do, but in the Network Connections options, I can only select WEP encryption. Is there any way to configure the laptop to connect to a WPA encryption, or do I need to reset the router's settings to WEP-128? I had trouble with my other laptop (Vista OS) connecting to WEP-128 also, so I'd like to keep the WPA encryption if possible. Thanks for your help in advance!!

theres this boy that i think likes me (hes gave loads of signs and everyone i have told seemed 100% he does) and when he came into form today, he come over to my table but and leaned on my chair (which was on the table)

"I dont care what they say i'm in love with you...they try to pull me away but they don't know the truth..." << thats the bit he sang and he never looked at me the whole time he was singing...think he was nervous or something?
i sed to him when he was singing.."You dedicating that song to me?" and he just went red and smiled =)

It's a 94 Explorer, 6 cyl

I can't see where it is leaking from but it is dripping...more like running...from above and behind the right front tire. It doesn't seem to leak much at all when it's running, but when I shut it off, after a few minutes, it leaks really bad. I tried Bars Leak, but that didn't help at all. Every time I get ready to drive it, I fill up the resevoir and radiator. The resevoir is usually empty after driving 30 miles or so and the radiator usually needs maybe a 1/4 of a gallon.

The new job will pay $25k/yr more than I am making now and I would be a pretty high level in a very large company in the transportation industry. I am very excited about the big salary boost and chance to work for a good company, but am concerned that if a recession hits and they need to lay off people, I will be the first to go since I am the newest one on, and this is a newly created position just for me.

What do you think? Would you be concerned about taking the job?

I did a upgrade from MCE to Vista, so i have my Vista upgrade disk, Then hardrive took a crap and was replaced, (old hardrive REALLY is fine), but i have this new HD which needs to be formatted., and all my junk that i need to put onto the new HD from old HD.
How do I do this?
Hope i asked right and you understand, because I can confuse myself at times... its those beer infused hotdogs I think...stay away... trust me, haha!
