Alright so after 11 long months me and my girlfriend broke up, I gave her a neck-less for her birthday, its one of those hearts that you separate and you keep one half and the other person the other, but i told her to hold my half so she ended up keeping it. anyways, she didn't wear the neck-less before because it was very fragile. We broke up 4 days ago and now i see pictures of her WEARING the neck-less, shes pretty much the one that ended it, not in a bad way, but I am confused about this. Does it have any meaning?

i'm a 14 year old boy and i'm a freshman in high school. my parents are really getting me mad. i know that they mean well and everything, but they don't understand that at my age, they can't control everything i do. they'll tell me to go to bed at like 9:00 and if i don't come upstairs then they'll take out the cable. most kids my age go to bed at 10:30-12:00 (i don't go to bed at 9:00 but that's when my parents ask me to go to bed). they think that they can control what i watch on tv also (it's not that i watch anything inappropriate). they say that i watch too much professional sports because i watch baseball, football, and basketball. my argument is that i have gotten good grades, and if i can get my work done by 7:00, i should be able to watch games that start at 7:30. i do watch a lot of sports, but it's a hobby of mine, and i think it's my choice if i want to watch it or not. i watch a lot of sports, but when i do, they always yell at me for watching too much. at my school there's the s**** popular kids and then the popular pretty funny kids. I fall under the not ***** kind. But the most popular girl in the whole school is a ****, Kelly. Anyway the boy i like likes Kelly. How do i compete with her. My friends say im stupid to fall for the one guy i can't have but what can i say? I hate the emo look. It's not me. I wear normal comfy clothes. ex: cargo pants and a T-shirt or jeans, ballet flats, and my fav top, etc. I don't like black. I like light colors. I also don't cut myself.
but....
I listen to goth/emo, alternative rock, etc. (but I also like other music like R&B).
I'm always thinking of dark, depressing thoughts. I have nightmares of people cutting themselves in the chest and reaching in and taking out their hearts and stuff.
I don't cut myself but sometimes I just use a needle and cut the top layer of my skin (it doesn't hurt at all so I don't consider it emo). I don't have a bad temper. Infact, my little brother has anger issues and has to see a therapist and compared to him I'm extremely calm.

Fun fact: One of my friends is kind of the opposite me. She is kind of an emo poser. She dresses emo and stuff and acts depressed and listens to emo music but she makes people know she does these things unlike me. When we're alone she's very preppy.

Recently, my the cat that we gave to my sister-in-law was killed. My husband loved this cat very much and he is very upset- she was a very nice kitty.
