Soo.. my friend is still not getting any of this and its really important he does.. help me out.. or and if you could explain to me how this works..

1. 95% of 48 is what number?

2. 215 is what percent of 86?

3. 93.6 is 52% of what number?

could you explain how to do these for me, in an easy way to explain to him?

100% of 10 is like doing 10 x 1 = 10
so 95% is a little less. Do 48 x 0.95 to get ur answer

215 divided by 86 will give you a ratio. Multiply that to get it in percentage.

formula: is/of=%/100

1. x/48=95/100 (x is replaced for whatever is the missing number)

48 x 95 = 4560 (cross-multiply)

4560/100= 45.6 (divide)
x=45.6

2. 215/86=x/100 (x is replaced for %)
215 x 100 = 21500 (cross-multiply)
21500/86= 250 (divide)
x=250%

3. 93.6/x=52/100 (x is replaced for of)
93.6 x 100 = 9360 (cross-multiply)
9360/52 = 180 (divide)
x= 180
