Maybe they're made of other stuff than just gas, solid and liquid. Maybe they're not organic at all but still living in a sense we don't know yet. I'm guessing we -as in mankind- are not even aware to what "Life" means to a full extend. So maybe do you think other pyshical conditions are possible in this universe, or maybe in another one?

I'm getting the answer 20-7/28. Not sure if I got to this answer right. I am converting 7-7/8 and 2-4/7 into improper fractions - I get 63/8 and 18/7, respectively. Then I solved 63/8 x 18/7 which came to 567/28 = 20-7/28. What am I doing wrong here???

I just found out about this newly released game "Sim City Societies" where you can choose how to build your city concerning greenhouse gases as well. I thought the idea was interesting and fun.

See more here (look at the snippet of the game): http://dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/11/14/be-an-eco-sinner-or-saint-in-the-new-simcity/

What do you think? Can this help raise awareness?

when my daughter was 2 months old she started sleeping through the night but now that she is 5 months old she doesn't sleep through the night anymore and she doesn't nap during the day. I have started her on baby food (1 jar a day) and i put 1 ounce of rice cereal in every 8 ounce bottle. she still doesn't sleep, no naps and she wakes up every night about every 2-3 hours. so i don't really think she's hungry but i feed her when she wakes, she drinks about 2-3 ounces every time then goes back to sleep. Her bedtime is 8:00-8:30pm everynight. We do the same routine bath and bottle before bed at the same time every night. and she wakes up at 6:30-7:00am every morning on her own. please help what am i doing wrong here?

Granted, there are some menial jobs in the field, But when you take into consideration the mathmatical skills (angles, weight, measurements, blue prints) the knowledge of regulations, running large crews, the ability to operate the high-tech tools and machinery, staying on top of state of the art technology (radiant heat, etc)risking their lives for their trade, on top of being able to meet deadlines and budgets, how can people assume they are uneducated? They sit in their air conditioned office (which wouldnt be there if not for them) and type data into a program that does the calculations for them, yet look down on these people. It's not as if you just pick up a drill and suddenly know how to run duct work efficiently or rebuild an AC unit.

i have a semi-office job, but have nothing but respect for the people responsible for giving us the buildings and skylines we admire but give no credit for.

And how do you find someone to train you on falconry because its not something done that much anymore I know. I probably won't get into it but I just read up on it and thought it would be pretty cool to get into but its way to time consuming and expensive I imagine. What do you know about hunting with falconry as far as it being used today to hunt. I know about the history of falconry and all that crap. More or less I'm looking for an answer to practices falconry or knows someone who does. Thanks.

Two brothers enlisting in the Army were getting their physicals. During the inspection, the doctor was surprised to discover that both of them possessed incredibly long, oversized p*nises.

"How do you account for this?" he asked the brothers.

"It's hereditary, sir," the older one replied.

"I see," said the doctor, writing in his file. "Your father's the reason for your elongated p*nises?"

"No sir, our mother."

"Your mother? You idiot, women don't have p*nises!"

"I know, sir," replied the recruit, "But she only had one arm, and when it came to getting us out of the bathtub, she had to manage as best she could."

A little background; I have a BA Social Services degree but am currently working in the business world as an accounts receivable manager. I am attending Webster University (out of Missouri) and am currently in their MS Finance program. However, I am not 100% sure I want to only have a Finance degree and am considering switching to their MBA program since I am only in my third class. I do not have a clear direction as far as a career goes at this point. I enjoy numbers and business (not sales at all) but want the degree that will open the most doors in the long run. I want to make a nice salary and don't want to back myself into a limited corner with finance. How do these two degrees compare and what type of jobs are available with an MBA, even though I do not have an undergrad business degree. How do the salaries compare for each degree. I appreciate any and all advice.

Why do they do that? In recent years the bible has been shown, at last, to be vastly falsified and made up by thousands of translators and scribes over thousands of years.
But Christians still hammer away at that book, saying its the truth, the word of god and ALL answers to life can be found there.
No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot wrap my mind around that kind of thinking and logic. (And I DO try, I WANT to understand why Christians have this need!)
Slowly but surely, Christianity and religion in general have been eroded, bit by bit, by philosophy, geology, physics, paleontology, biology and science in general.
Once religion was a world dominant way of thought, now all they have left is faith and an old, falsified book whose meanings and messages are so vague that they can be interpreted hundreds of different ways.
So why? Why do so many still fight to hold on to something so hard even thought it has been falsified? Would it make more sense to obey Green Eggs and Ham?
