my unkle is a severe heart patient and we all worried about his health. he always eating oily food ,,,,,and when we tell him to go for a morning walk ,,,he doesnt listen,,,,,,,,,,,he also drinks nearly one bottle of whisky every night....,his one artery of the heart has been blocked and he is also a heavy diabetic patient,,,,,,,,he always stays at home and smoking ,,,,,,,,any suggestion how can we stop him from doing all this.,,,,,he says drinking doesnt affect his heart

For those of us who don't really enjoy dating at this age (let's say, anyone in their thirties), sometimes it gets tricky. People have kids, divorces ... all kinds of baggage. When, if ever, do you allow yourself to "settle"? I am starting to think that I would rather not date than date someone I would not normally date just because I am getting older. But it is hard, with family members asking stupid questions like, "Don't you WANT kids?" (Uggh.) My friends tell me I'm picky, but I don't think so. For starters, he has to be emotionally and physically healthy; not have a bunch of kids; have a good career; be responsible, reliable and trustworthy; keeps his word; has integrity, loves God and what I find attractive. My friends insist that I will be single if I continue to be picky. Should I believe them?

okay, so i gave blood earlier today. then on the way home i was standing on the train and everything started getting blury and i was blacking out. i was dizzy and felt like i was gonna pass out. i held on to the railing and i was leaning against the wall. the next thing i remember its 2 stops later (about 5 min.) and i am bent over with my head between my knees. i was all sweaty through my clothes and when i stood up to try and call my mom i couldnt see the buttons. finally, everything got clear and i was fine again (i still have a headache.) i dont think anyone on the train noticed, but idk. could i have fainted without falling over?

I have 2 turtles about 2 inches wide and a 30 gallon tank. I used to have 1 turtle about the same size and never had any trouble keeping the tank clean. Now I'll clean the tank and 2 days later it looks like I haven't touched it in months. I understand that there is more waste with two turtles but I never thought it would be like this... I have a really nice filter, a light, a basking dock and turtle rocks on the bottom but all of a sudden there is bright green stuff all over everything and the water gets so murky you can't even see through it!! Does anyone know of and products or animals that I could put in there to slow down this process?? I love turtles but this is getting insaine taking the entire tank apart and cleaning everything every other day... Thanks!

Do I need to have an UNDERGRAVEL water filter for my 2 baby red-eared sliders?

The water filter I have doesn't go under the gravel. I don't know if this means that the turtles' poop would most likely end up plugging the water filter if it's not under the gravel. I don't know if that would even happen. I'm totally new to this.

I'm not talking about being nicer than usual, I'm talking about giving to charity, visiting nursing homes, inviting lonely college students to dinner, etc. I've done benevolence and volunteer work for years. At Christmas people are falling over each other to help; then the rest of the year--poof! They vanish, but the sick, lonely, and hungry still need help. What would it take to get people to spread the love around a little more?

On behalf of my new contact shelly s, I bring this question to you.

Shelly has an unnamed condition in which she bleeds quite heavily and for long periods of time - almost to death - because the lining in her uterus is too thin. She would have a hard time getting pregnant because the embryos can't implant properly, causing her to miscarry. At 16, she was told that she might never get pregnant, but if she ever planned on doing so, she would have to start as soon as possible. She had her first child at 17 (due to medical reasons, she said) and she is now 22, married with two kids, and she went in for her hysterectomy two days ago. Most people in her situation would have to have this done when they're in their 20's, or perhaps even ealy 30's.

My question is, if your child were in the situation as described above, told she needs to get pregnant now or never, would you go for it? Or would you tell her to get her life in order, then consider adoption if it'll be too late?
