Our greatest adversary is ourselves. WE are the ones who hinder ourselves in achieving our goals. WE are the ones who have made our planet so.

self and in second place man...
if i can overcome self enough to relinquish selfishness and fear, then man has no power over me and is no longer an adversary, but a non-entity...even if he throws an atom bomb at me, (well, if he did that, how would i know cause it would be over too quickly.)

I don't look at either as being my adversary. Perhaps that is one of the fundamental problems with the world. The whole, "you're either with me or against me" mentality.

The all consuming ego, which seems to hold undisputed sway over each to the extent that one starts believing that is the reality.
