Your friend claims that he has ESP. In order to prove his claim to you, he is going to have your write the names of ten of your friends on slips of paper and put one name into each of 10 sealed envelopes. You will invite the 10 friends to your house and your friend with ESP will distribute the envelopes using his ESP powers.

Here is the question: How many people have to receive their own name before you believe that your friend has ESP and isn't just randomly giving out the envelopes?

To answer the question you will first need to simulate randomly giving envelopes with names to 10 people to see what the distribution of correct names under random distribution looks like. You must do as many simulations as you need to be sure about the distribution. You must also be clear about how you did the simulation and what the results were.

Next you will have to choose an alpha level for your test of ESP. How many of your friends must get their own names in the envelope before your ESP friend has performed that much better than random?

Do u think it's ok to take out my contact lenses from the center of my eye where the lenses is at? because the eye doctor's assistant didn't say anything that is wrong and plus that's the only way i can take out the lenses. i'm asking because this time, i have a different lense (Acuve advanced) but i used to use Acuve 2 which was easier to remove.

I have been renting a townhome for close to two years. Lately ive had some personal issues preventing me from paying on time. I have, however, been in contact with the owners, and have made them aware of my issues. At the same time, ive received letters threatening eviction, and reporting me to the credit bureau. I have no problems with these people, and they seem nice everytime we talk. With that said, there is one more thing. There is NO rental agreement. There is nothing legally binding me to make the payment at all. I do live here, and plan to move out very soon.

Is there any advice anyone can give me at all. This is worrying me a little more than it was a couple days ago. Could these people forge, or fake a rental agreement?

What are your thoughts? Any feedback would be appreciated. I would be grateful for anything at this point.

I want to buy a bottle of champagne but I want it to be a little sweet and I don't know what the terms on the bottles mean. Please help me? Can you also reccommend a good brand and type that ladies/women like? They don't like it if its super dry or not sweet at all.

Whenever someone hurts me, I completely retreat into myself. It's like my normally bubbly, easy-going, sweet personality vanishes. I barely talk and when I do, I make passive aggressive remarks to push the persons buttons, but pretend I have no idea what they're talking about when they accuse me of doing it.

Even when the person tries to be really nice to me to make up for it, I go out of my way to be cold and distant, but I do it in such a way that they can't quite put their finger on what's not right about my behavior.

I just start playing Yu-gi-oh tgc. I just to play when it came out just for fun, but it became a too expensive hobby to keep. Then i just play video games to keep in touch. Now i want to come back to the trading game, and to do so i bought the new dragon lord structure deck. I added a lot of cards i traded and now is just a mix of ramdom cards. I know most people have pretty much the same thing as Thanksgiving: Turkey, potatoes, etc.

But what do you usually have? Be nice to hear what kind of dinner you have on Christmas.

Do you go real fancy? Order out? Nothing special?

We're kind of tired of Turkey & trimmings. Thinkng about ordering pizza, lol.

I have 3 young male cats. The all get along and are a year apart each. My middle cat is half siamese and half himilayin. He rubs up against everything (i.e. door frames, wall edges, your leg), but if you bend down and pet him, he leans away from your hand, or lets you pet him and looks miserable, or just gets up and walks away. The only person he lets pet him is my 7 year old son. He will jump up next to him and cuddle with him. We've never beat my cat or anything. He's 2 years old now and still hates being pet. What's his problem?

Did you ever notice that atheist try real hard to make you beilieve there's no God ? I dont get it. If you dont want to belive in God thats your right but why get all bent if I want to ?
