The modern kanji character for "kara" in Kara-te means "empty", the original charatcter used means "T'ang" , a Chinese dynasty at the time Karate was developed on Okinawa. Okinawan pronunciation of character was "To-de", in Japanese "Kara-te".

I recently started a relationship with this guy who really likes me, but I always go back and forth in my mind whether I truly like him or not, and whether I should be with him. I would like to keep the relationship going just to see where it goes, but on the other hand I don't know if I can be with him if I don't truly like him. I would really rather just be friends, but I don't think it'd work out since we have already passed the friendship part and I don't think we could return to that b/c it'd be too awkward. Please help I'm going crazy thinking about this all the time!

I know that you guys don't know the true answer and only "he" knows. I remember when I was a kid, I did believe in God but I was not christian, I just thought he was up there watching over us. There were these punk kids who stole people's lunches, made girls cry, and caused trouble in the playground. I said that God would punish them for their crimes.

They then said "He can suck it." These kids then do the suck it sign up the sky. -_-" and pointed their middle fingers up the sky. They then said "see nothing happened to us". I thought thunder was gonna strike them or something. So I guess he only punishes people in the after life?

When I was in junior high, I loved to watch Indy car racing. Then when we were moved to Japan (dad was in the Navy), I discovered Formula 1. I became hooked instantaneouly. After a few years of watching Formula 1, I always wondered if they could put an Indy car vs. a Formula 1 car. I already have my opinion on this. What's yours?

Ok now , my elder brother got a store and i help him out there.... a guy who usually come to the store , he jokes around ,friend of my brother , and i really like him ......he told me everyday , that i m beautiful and pretty .........and couple of times he ask for my fone number , but my brother always there ,and when i didnt respond he just make it a joke .....everytime he told me that " U MAKE MY DAY WHENEVER I COME TO THE STORE"......now

I start dieting and exercising 2 weeks ago. I try so hard do it, I maintain my diet ( 3 cups of rice and 12 pcs of plain crackers plenty of water and fruits ) and I work out so hard on exercise 15 min a day.
But im not loosing weight, its been 2 weeks and looks like im gaining instead of loosing.im the only in only one fat in my family. Is there somthing wrong wirth me.
Im 25 yrs old, 58 kilos and 5"2 in height.
I m feeling frustrated what shall i do, i relly want and need to loose weight.
