Some say no.
Some say only if you start to fantisize...(I know thats not how you spell it but..Im really tired.)
but then....how can you masterbate and NOT think about your bf/gf/wife/husband/crush/celeb/ect.? Does that stil count as fantisizing?

No. As long as you're not harming anyone or affecting people around you in a bad way, feel free to masturbate whenever you feel like it.

Masturbation is considered by many in the world to be the harmless expression of an instinctive sex drive. Prophets have condemned it as a sin throughout the ages. The law of chastity prohibits all sexual relations outside marriage. Yes, this includes self-stimulation.

Masturbation is not a sin, has never been a sin, and never will be a sin. Some churches teach that it's a sin, but they're just too hung up about sex in the first place. Fantasy is a normal part of the masturbatory experience. There's nothing wrong with it. Masturbation is a normal part of a person's sex life.

It's kind of like being a "strict" vegetarian and eating Boca burgers and veggie cheese. Why tamper with the fake stuff and still call yourself a vegetarian??? So, too, why take the cheap, quick way in pleasing yourself other than having some type of self control and waiting for the real deal?

The idea goes back to Jesus' words in Matthew 5: "If a man looks at a woman with lust in his eyes, he has already committed adultery in his mind," Adultery being forbidden in the Ten Commandments (Deut 5).

Following this logic, masturbation would be acceptable IF you fantasize exclusively about your spouse ('Spouse' meaning someone who you are in fact currently married to).

Your body is described as a temple, not a playground. It is self gratification due to a sexual urge. Giving in to sexual immorality is a sin. If you fantasize in a sexual way about someone that is married, you have already committed adultery with them in your heart. I tell you the truth!

I believe it's a sin because God created human beings ie men & women to marry and procreate kids through sex.

However, when one masturbates and fantasizes, one imagines he/she is with their spouse. This means that physically the masturbater is having sex with himself and that's serious and a sin.

The Catholics made that a sin a long time ago cause they want people to have a lot of babies who could then join the church and give money. They didn't want people pleasuring themselves and not procreating. It is not written in the bible that you can't do it.

I am religious so I don't believe in it myself. However, all the 'experts' -educated via college or whatever-say its normal and it's o.k. It's up to u to decideif it's right for u. As far as fantasizing, can't help u there.

Sin is a man-made concept invented to instill fear and exercise control over others.
