In 1971 climate scientist Dr. S. I. Rasool and S. H. Schneider stated that the earth was heading into an ice age in a article published in Science Magazine (Science 9 July 1971:Vol. 173. no. 3992, pp. 138 - 141). I often read answers here posted by the armchair climate sceptics stating that because we are not in an ice age today that climate scientists don't know what they are talking about. My question is, based on the article listed above which is the source of the ice age argument, why do you think Rasool and Schneider were wrong about predicting the ice age?

Dear Sir,

I hope you still remembered me. I did video editing for you around June 2007 and sent the invoice through Mike. Unfortunately, until today I still haven't received my payment yet.

Could you please check if there is a problem with your company's financial system?

Every time I run the water in my kitchen sink, after a few seconds it backs up. Also happens when I run the dishwasher. A few hours later it drains out, VERY slowly. We have tried using a pipe snake to no avail, I think it's clogged really far down.
However, we have been in this house 4 years and have only just realized we may not be on city sewer but a septic tank. (the City says we aren't paying for city sewer so either we have one or we're somehow getting it free) Maybe it's plugged? But if it was wouldn't the water not be draining at all? And the other drains in the house aren't plugged like the kitchen. Help! I'm going insane and don't want to waste money on a plumber snaking the drains if it's a septic problem, and vice versa.

Jesus told His disciples during The Last Supper that He would die - by crucifixion - and that this was a main reason for His coming. Judas thought Jesus was a false Messiah because Jesus' references to the Kingdom contradicted Judas own ideas of it. http://www.tuitionplaza.com/tutoring/question.asp?FID=178
Hmmm.. what do you think?

I am married for 7 Years (10 years of relationship). We went to India for 4 months to Visit his Parents 1st time. I went to live at my relatives because I was very uncomfortable with his family (they always mibehaved with me but I still spent 2 weeks there somehow)...Suddenly our life went haywire. I found out from my Cousins roommate that my husband has been seeing my cousin at her place& spent nights there and that they even went out to hill station for a week. She gave me thier boarding pass as a proof. I only took my cousin along with me once to introduce my husband. And I never knew when they exchanged thier phone no. I had stayed with my cousin for a week and she took me to all the Pubs where we drank and smoked bcos I dont get to do all this with my husband so I wanted to enjoy the week. I told her its secret between us. She told him everything to get closer to him. I am very heart broken and we are playing blame games. He says i hide things from me,I say u slept with my cousin.

A week ago I had a cold, and while that seems to have cleared up, the area right above my left eye hurts so much now. It feels like sinus pain in the area and the pain pulsates and radiates through that entire side of my head.

Right now it feels especially horrible and I'd like to get rid of the pain. Any good remedies to help with the pressure/pain feeling? Would tea help, or maybe something like Tylenol/Ibuprofen?

So what are some must haves at your favorite coffee house/hangout... specific drinks, entertainment, etc. What makes you an avid goer to that establishment.

I'm thinking of opening my own spot and I need some inspiration....I don't want to be strictly a coffee shop more of a chill hangout with smoothies, maybe some hookah.

Thanks in advance

Why is it that Vets recommend Science Diet?
Here's a quote from Dogfoodanalysis.com:
"The primary ingredient in the food is a low quality grain. Corn is a problematic grain that is difficult for dogs to digest and thought to be the cause of a great many allergy and yeast infection problems. We prefer not to see this used in dog food, yet it is the primary grain in this food.
The next ingredient in this food is by-products...."

After all of the recalls, and all of the information that's readily available about the problems that dogs have with these kinds of ingredients, why is it still being regarded as "good food"?

I can find Reynolds 75sqft Freezer paper rolls for less than $4 online, but the shipping is so much more than that! There must be some store in LA that sells this stuff! Anybody know? With shipping online, the cheapest is through an Amazon marketplace store...about $9.

The firm that I work for right now, has a dresscode which requires that if women wear skirts, a pantyhose must be worn with it and was just wondering how women felt about be forced to wear pantyhose simply b/c you are wearing a skirt.

I am asking this b/c I hear a lot of my colleagues complain about having to wear it; some have said that as time has moved forward it should not be a requirement to wear p.h.

*Before someone questions why this question is in GWS, this is not a fashion statement, but trying to get a prespective on a forced dress code on women
