America ceased to be free, and stated the exact same thing that the head of homeland security stated, that we need to get rid of some freedom to be secure.
Please tell me that this isn't what you people really believe, or is it?
I hear all this ranting about burning flags being disrespectful to everyone who died for our freedom, and our troops dying for freedom are heroes, and it makes me wonder about their emotional stability to say something like this. If our troops dying for our freedom, makes them heroes, what does that make a person who is willing to throw it away, just for a promise of security?
He asked me if " I'd rather be completely free and get blown up by a suicide bomber, or lose a little freedom and not have to worry about it?"
I can't believe the look I got when I told him, "I'd rather take my chances being free, because without freedom, life seems pretty much like a waste of time." He looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about.
