Hello everyone. I am 35 and 5 years ago I had small intestinal cancer. It spread to my ovaries. I went through chemo and had a complete hysterectomy 5 years ago. Well after having good ct scans for the last 4 years I have 4 small spots on my right lung that came back positive for cancer. So now I have to start chemo again. I am so scared I am going to die. My bloodwork is fine. I feel fine. I hate this. Anyone have any input for me???

If you responded to chemo once and had success, you will probably respond again. You must have an excellent medical oncologist to be proactive enough to do frequent CT scans for recurrence, and continued this for 5 years after your initial treatment.
There are a lot of stories out there from very famous people with very expensive doctors who never followed up for recurrence. These famous people found cancer again very late after having symptoms with pain, and that was way too late to treat again successfully. Be happy that you caught the recurrence early. That gives you a good chance of treating it again and living a long time. I would not spend my retirement money yet. I think you are going to live a long time.

Yeah i hate to sound like a cliche' but here it is. Don't worry be happy. You can only due what you can do and when it is your time it is your time. Enjoy your life and take time to smell the roses.
Do you chemo and put your trust in a higher power, what ever that power is for you.

Since the spots are small, there is plenty of hope that you will pull through this again. It is difficult to face the possibility that an illness that you have can potentially kill you. But keep going and do your best and concentrate on living.

even i am too young for your question, i can still say that if you feel that you are dying you will surely die because you let yourself be hopeless...
just take this,some people here in the philippines have the same problems sometimes worse but they do not go to any doctors, they go to faith healers...but what is the rationale?
listen,if you let yourself believe of something different even the most impossible it will still happen because psychologically, they are strong and so their bodies follows what they used to think...

IM SO SORRY TO HEAR YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO START CHEMO. I HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH THE PAIN OF GETTING CHEMO, BUT I SAW MY 4 YEAR OLD SON GO THROUGH IT AND ALL THE PAIN HE WENT THROUGH.NO ONE WILL EVER UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH UNLESS THEY GO THROUGH IT THEMSELFS, OR THEY SEE SOMEONE THEY LOVE GO THROUGH IT.ALLS I CAN SAY IS YOU ARE STRONG, YOU HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE AND YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN.YOU WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS AND IF YOU NEED ANYONE TO TALK TO I AM HERE FOR YOU.
