I was at Best Buy this previous weekend, and was viewing "Ultra Violet" and "Into The Blue" on a Sony Bravia 50inch, and the picture quality was amazing when watching it on Blu-Ray. The only thing I noticed was that, it felt like the movie lost that "film like" feel when you watch it in the theater or on DVD, the quality was so high you can see every detail, it almost gave that feeling of a "reality show" that you would see on MTV, where the video camera shows more of a personal video camera type quality. It is hard to describe, but it did feel like I was viewing a home video, because the quality and detail was a little edgy or detailed. Any ideas why? Could it be the frame rate? The movie lost that "imaginative/fantasy" type feel to it. It felt too much like a news report done in HD rather than a "movie". Can anyone help and tell me why?

The base housing has a very long waiting list and I am concerned if we can't live on base, what will that be like and will we be able to find a house or apartment in our price range? Also I have dogs and I have heard it is next to impossible to find a rental that allows pets. Anyone have any advice?

My grandpa is on chemo right now and I want to get him something he can use for christmas. He doesn't really like to watch anything right now because it makes him dizzy so no t.v. or reading. What did everybody else do. I thought about books on tape maybe he's very religous and he can't really read his bible right now. It might be too high tech though. He's also having a hard time sleeping. Any ideas?

I just finished a project for my advanced art class. It's a figure I painted on a mirror (which by the way is really hard to do..since I did it in pencil first :O)...but I absolutely love it. I made it a fashion kind of look so it's very elongated and slightly disproportioned...but in a cool way. I glued some accessories on it too and gave it a zebra print border! It's so cool lol. I'm definitely hanging it up in my room when I get it back..but anyways I was thinking of making mirrors like that for my friends for Christmas. Do you think handpainted mirrors would be a good gift? Also, any other arts/crafts kind of gifts you can think of that I can do? I love doing that kind of thing =] Thanks!

I know the "hot stove" TECHNICALLY means free agent and trades, but I want to factor everything in here. The Angels added 1 CF who can catch for a few years but has a mediocre bat. The Angels also traded for a pitcher who will do ok there, but gave up a gold glover. Joe Crede would fill that hole nicely I think making them a complete team. Please remember that K-Rod is a free agent next year and the Yanks could sign him to replace Rivera soon. (70 million + coming off the payroll in 08 and that's scary since it's 35% of the total payroll and we aren't talking small payrolls here for that type of %. The Yanks will most likely get Santana and resign Pettite. They have Moose to play the wingman to these young stars, and Cano is going to get better and put a nice Bernie Williams career up on the stat sheet. The only other competition is from the Sox. They are older as are we I give them that, but they revolve around 2 guys (Ortiz Manny) and they are both past their prime trouble is brewing

i started dating this guy who is 17 and im 15. anyway we were at a party when he got really drunk and started asking for sex. i said no and walked off to find a friend because he was off his face. i walked around the corner to go find her and then i was shoved from behind into a door and then into a room. my bf grabbed me and pushed me onto the ground (it really hurt and he is like heaps taller and stronger) anywway i dnt want to go into detail but he raped me and now im pregnant.
i dont want to take a human life but i also dont want anything to do with him because he hurt me so much.........i really need advice on how to tell my parents to......i told them the bruises were because i accidentally fell over at the party because im too embarrased to tell them.

He is very qualified for the job of President. He's bright, with loads of experience in foreign affairs, and has been a Senator for a long time. He has strong convictions about the poor and the middle-class. I wonder why more people don't support him. I think he'd make a great President, and he sure doesn't like George Bush, which is another plus!
