One of my loved ones is trying to stop an addiction cold turkey. I've seen the list of withdrawal symptoms and she's hitting them like a checklist. One of the problems is that while she sleeps deeper, her dreams are much more vivid and more along the lines of insane nightmares. From what I've read in psych books, it's basically tapping into the fears that the addictions were masking. That's all well and good, but she'd like to deal with that AFTER her body detoxes. Is there any sort of natural supplement that is good for helping with withdrawal symptoms? Right now, she is taking calcium magnesium supplements.

Hi, i'm a nursing student and I'm writing a paper. Part of it is nursing diagnosis by priority. I need a little help deciding which would come first... the pt has bipolar disorder..

-a. risk for suicide related to depression associated with bipolar disorder as evidenced by feelings that his family can’t deal with him anymore and he feels like “everyone is shitting on me”,
b. risk for violence directed at others related to manic excitement as evidenced by agitated behaviors,
c. defensive coping related to an inadequate level of perception of control as evidenced by grandiosity and argumentative behavior,
d. chronic low self-esteem related to shame and impaired self-appraisal as evidenced by hypersensitivity to slights of criticism, and
e. impaired memory related to neurologic disturbance as evidenced by incidences of forgetting information caused by Electroconvulsive Therapy.

The " risk for" ones confuse me, because if it's not happening now... shoudl it be priority?

I know i've answered this question already, but i'm just so scared. I don't want to die. I mean, it is just really scary because i think about life too often, and i'm all like, omg, i'm going to die someday. Where do we go when we die? <-That's a rhetorical question, please don't answer it. My real question is: Is the world going to end? Ya know, on 12/21/12?

I have a friend who had a warrant out for him, he turned himself in, and his possible options were going to be jail or the army. I've called the jail that takes people from four counties, mine included, and he isn't there. How would I go about finding out where he went? I just wanna write a letter or maybe visit.

Because the process to make glass involves and extreme amount of heat (like 1,000's of degrees unlike plastic) which emits some kinda smoke which is probably some kind of glass smoke which maybe could get into a person's lungs like asbestos...
Also, Glass will cut a person and glass shards can stay in the body just like plastic, just thinking of how to compare the two when walking bear foot...plastic seems way nicer.

One day Bill complained to his friend that his elbow really hurt. His friend suggested that he go to a computer at the drug store that can diagnose anything quicker and cheaper than a doctor.
''Simply put in a sample of your urine and the computer will diagnose your problem and tell you what you can do about it. It only costs $10." Bill figured he had nothing to lose, so he filled a jar with a urine sample and went to the drug store. Finding the computer, he poured in the sample and deposited the $10. The computer started making some noise and various lights started flashing. After a brief pause out popped a small slip of paper on which was printed: "You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water. Avoid heavy lifting. It will be better in two weeks."
Later that evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was and how it would change medical science forever, he began to wonder if this machine could be fooled. He mixed together some tap water, a stool sample from his do

Ya'll look like you're having so much fun over here that I thought I would like to join in. I'm a 60' something retired bead store owner from the Ozarks who can't stand to sit still. I am an artist, make jewelry, do wirewrapping, paint, garden, and my husband and I are rock hounders, and we cut and polish our own stones for jewelry. Looking for an Airstream trailer to travel in maybe next year. What about you?
