Passed Away
Sally goes to work one morning crying her eyes out. Her boss, concerned his employee, walks over to her and asks sympathetically, "What's the matter?" The blonde replies, "Early this morning I got a phone call that my mother had passed away."

The boss, feeling very sorry at this point suggests to the young girl, "Why don't you go home for the day...we aren't terribly busy. Just take
the day off and go relax."

Sally very calmly states, "No I'd be better off here. I need to keep my mind busy and I have the best chance of doing that here."

The boss agrees and allows her to work as usual. "If you need anything just let me know" says the boss.

A few hours pass and the boss decides to check on Sally. He looks out his office and sees her crying hysterically.

He rushes over an asks, "What's the matter now? Are you going to be ok?"

Sally breaks down in tears. "I just received a horrible call from my sister. She said that her mom died too!!"

I had sex with both of my roommates and now there is a lot tension in our house. I was drunk out of my mind both times, and I wouldn't have remembered much about what I've done if hadn't they both personally told me about it. I know I have a drinking problem and I'm trying to deal with that.

They both have boyfriends and that's adding a lot of stress to the situation. They've both came on to me afterwards. I'm bi leaning heavily towards women and I actually came out to them about a month before our sexual encounters. I don't know what to do. They are both really hot and I'm attracted to them. But I also sense a little bit jealousy from them toward each other whenever one hangs out with me a little too much. This is driving me insane. I don't want new roommates.

I was told by my father that our family last name was changed from Erickson to Allen because there were too many Ericksons coming over on the boat. This would have been in the late 19th century I believe. This sounded plausable for most of my life until today when an Irish guy I work with casually metioned that Allen was an Irish last name. I had always assumed it to be English. Many people throughout my life had always said my siblings and I looked Irish and I had to correct them and say I was of Sweedish descent. Now I'm questioning. Was somebody snowed along the way somewhere and I really am Irish.
Any help would be great.

My wife noticed awhile back that most maps now a days dont show the North Pole but they show the South Pole......does anyone know why? i know it might be an ignorant question but I guess that is why I am asking.......Look it up on Google maps and you will see what I mean.......just want to show my kids where Santa lives too

No true Christian would do anything to bring shame to or make god feel angry or sadden him.

However the Bible also says the if someone harms one of his people it is like "touching my eyeball", a situation that would make god angry at those bringing the harm and saddened at the harm that had been done to one of his people. It is also states in the Bible that Christians must love their neighbour wether they are Christians or not and that Christians must also display themselves as Christians, like the tale good Samaritan.

Therefore, is not a Christian who stands around and allows an injustice just as guilty as the person committing the injustice in gods eyes? Further, if this is a sin should it not be regarded as one, instead of the lack lustre 'well its only a semi-bad thing' that it is treated as now?

PS - This is not an meant to be an attack on Christians, I would regard myself as Christian, it is a question about the way things are thought of in this world.

My friend was driving my car & got into an accident, damage is about $5k, my insurance deductable is $1k. The police report & insurance report stats my friend was 100% at fault. I dated this guy for 8 months. He was more than a boyfriend to me. We was just alike. Lately we was bumping heads. He wanted a baby I did not. I already have a 2 year old. We both in school and he lives a hundred miles away. We debated it back in forth and I finally decide to try. I tried one month and it did not work. He wanted to get marry then after I said I did not want to have the baby he wanted to push back the wedding. We kept arguing. But I thought we was just going through a rough time but I guess it was the beginnig of the end. Last week, we was tossing the idea of taking a break back and forth. He told me no we will work it out when he come home for thanksgiving. I said cool. Monday he came into town. At 4:30 a.m. he writes a message about taking a break. He had me thinking we was going to work it out. He was home when he wrote it. It broke my heart. Cause he said we was going to make that decision together. Two days later he tell me he has feelings for another girl.
