you are kidding right?

Why should we allow people in this country that are going to be a burden to society?

They should posess some type of skill of trade that is needed so that they can get works and be a productive member of society!

They should speak the language of whatever country there are trying to immigrate to, why shold an entier country and culture have to accomodate an immigrant by having to learn their language?

To actually contribute to the success of the country they are moving to. Should countries let immigrants in simply because they have a nice smile? You should have something positive to contribute to the country and a means to succeed (education, job skills, etc.)

They wanna be here they need to speak our language we shouldn't have to deal with immigrants here that can't communicate it's a drain on society and resources..Think about it..people from overseas at least know enough english to get by..Mexicans don't..They don't wanna be Americans they just want thier country back,

I dont know the official reason, but if someone is going to immigrate to Canada, Canada would want them to be a useful part of society. They would need to know how to work and communicate with the people of Canada, and to be knowleagable would be beneficial to society.

Else the government will be supporting them under its welfare system, as the immigrant is an illiterate.

They don't want people coming in to their country who can not support themselves. Even a visitor has to have a specific amount of cash for each day they will be there! We should have that in the US.

So people dont freeload. a citizen must contribute to their society for the system to work. it cant work if people come in and freeload. im all for immigration but not for freeloaders.
