Yes, I think we've ALL heard this question a million times but I just had to ask to get some opinions. I am African American and I am in love (in a relationship) with a Caucasian man. We are in high school and love each other very much and could care less what others think about it because it's what's on the inside that matters. What is your opinion about interracial dating / relationships?

I think that it is just fine...we should all be allowed to be with who we really love, and race should not be issue. I married outside of my race, and some members of my family weren't exactly happy, but they have gotten used to it after 16 years of marriage!
It's also great that you both have the mindset it is what's on the inside that matters...and that you can both ignore people who might not be so open minded.

In my family, it does not matter the race. I am white married to an hispanic for 18 yrs. My sister is white married to an Asian for 20 years, my neice is dating african american and will probably marry into that race. So I say, whatever floats your boat.

I think it's great ! There's not problem with it.. I think it's a nice thing for different races to come together like that. That is what God intended for us to do, and not worry about what color the person is..I've dating many men not from my own background..It kind of keeps things spiced up too :) When it comes down to it, it's the inside that counts !! If your happy it's your business, no one else's. And love is color blind anyway.

For me it doesn't matter what skin color the guy has. It's the inside that counts and I don't think interracial is a big deal.

All the power to you! I am white and hispanic and my boyfriend is black. We have been together for 12 1/2 years. We have 2 kids and another on the way. The color of your skin does not mean a thing, it is how you treat one another.
