Oh yeah, I think so. It looks funny to me when somebody appears to be very opinionated about the subject and then they don't even pick a best answer. You'd think they would pick the answer that agrees with them the most.
I only let one of my questions go to "vote" once because there were three or four really good answers and I couldn't make up my mind which one to pick.

Well...I do care about the answers...but usually I have better things to do that take up all my time in the day so I can't check them in time...so they go to vote. I don't mean for that to happen...just does. After a certain amount of time they won't let you pick a best answer....but I always read them....and have to end up voting to help pick the answer that helped best. Sorry guys...I only have so many hours in the day that can go towards whatever I want....the rest of the hours are pretty much already taken.
I can't speak for everyone..but that is my reason. I never ask a question for an other reason in the V/V section except in the hopes that someone may be able to help me out.....Like can I have your best vegetarian gravy recipe...things like that. Like I said I cannot speak for everyone...but I tend to think many people here do post questions here for that reason also....I agree.

You may be right that people just ask questions for the sake of asking and not really interested in the answers. I hate to answer a question and go back to check days later and their are like 10 answers and no best answer.

I think that is accurate especially for those who get their accounts deleted every week. Those frequent deletions certainly would indicate "ulterior motivations" that are quite transparent to YA monitors.

I'm not sure if that would be an accurate assumption to make based on that. I think it depends more heavily upon the content of the question. Besides, you know what they say about assumptions...

I've only asked one question so I'm not so sure
but what if there is no good answer?
Is this like the onomatopoeia of questions? Question that sounds like the question it's asking...
