I have heard people say there are programs that can be downloaded that will help with this process but I made a .zip folder and password protected it, then make it hidden. All this can be down for free with Windows but takes a lot pf explaining. You could look in the help section included with Windows. That was how I fgured out how to do it. I also had to password protect using Winrar cause some programs bypass the default Windows password prtoection of files and folders.

well you can right click your folder, and click properties. Where is says Attributes, check mark Hidden.
If you hide it, and wanted to see it again, you have to go to My Computer and click Tools, then Folder Options. When it opens, On the top, Click Show Hidden files and folders. and it should show up again.
And if you want to hide it again just do the same thing but select Do not show hidden files and folders. And thats it :)

You can divide your computer off to other users! And for all your stuff you don't want them to see you can control too! Go into your control panel! Click on users! and that's where you can set eveything up! after you set it all up for users etc. they will need a password to even use the computer if you want it set up that way!
But if you just want to set it up just so they can't see any of the main files and private files you can set it all up that way too!
Everything can be set up in your control panel under users! But before you leave after setting everything up, be sure you wrote your password down some where and keep it in a safe place, because you will always have to type in your new administrator's password! or you won't be able to get to the files and private ones either! so be very careful setting it up! be sure to write everything down instead of thinking Oh I'll remember! you can get locked out of your own computer! and make sure you don't spell the password wrong before you click OK! recheck everything before clicking OK on any of the set ups!
If you don't know how to get to your control panel, go to the bottom of your computer screen to the left side! Click on the green START button, when the box comes up, Click on the word Control Panel in that box! It has a computer screen with a check mark in it as an ICON next to the word control panel!
