I live a few miles from the Getty Center (Los Angeles) and it's free to get in. (http://www.getty.edu). Anyway, during one of my frequent trips, I was walking down their beautiful stairs, and this caught me. I think it would be completely different if it were in black and white.

I used Canon 5D with Canon 50 mm f 2.5 Macro lens. It is an inexpensive lens--very very sharp, but a bid loud (during focus) and it served me well.

Last weekend we did it. It was with a old girl that I have know for a long time. It happened spontaneously and it was amazing. We talked about last night and she is interested in doing it again. Should I ride the donkey tell it falls down, or put a stop to it before it goes wrong.

We're both in high school, and he's extremely religious, while I'm agnostic. Other than that, we have a lot in common, and I really enjoy his company, but he doesn't want a relationship. "Relationships? There's no time for relationships in high school!" He said this to someone else in a teasing voice, but I think he was being serious.

The logical side of me knows he's absolutely right, but at the same time, I feel like I've met the perfect guy... and I can't do anything about it. How do I get over him? Any thoughts?

I do NOT regret buying our Mini-Dachshund pup from a 'Hobby Breeder' who is very responsible. She is a Vet Tech, so has the vet at hand if she needs one and has all the pups vaccinated, dewormed and checked out before sending them on to their new homes. They are also raised indoors with people! We weren't able/didn't want to pay for a AKC champ pup-no reason just for a pet (but, her pups are AKC registerable).

We did (many years ago) buy from a BYB and got lucky! Our Golden rocks (she was 1 out of 17 pups from 2 bred sisters)! She's in perfect health and we just didn't know about BYB back then.

So, I know everyones thoughts on BYB's, but what about Hobby Breeders? This one certainly doesn't do it for the money-she does it because she enjoys it and to be able to give people affordable, quality pets. I've seen her house, her pets, etc. She's not a puppymill or the like.

Just wondering what ya'll think :)

I planted a green giant thuja evergreen around 09/15/2007.
I didn't notice at the time it was planted with a slight lean.
Will it straighten itself out next spring when it starts to grow, or should I do something about it now.
I really do not want to disturb it.
I planted 3 total plants and they all are getting light golden brown on every branch on the very ends (tips).
Is this normal.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years now. We really love each other, but things are a lot different. When we first started dating, he was very loving and understanding. We broke up a couple times, twice because he liked another girl, once because I liked another guy. We got over it and it's been a while, but we started fighting a lot. I told him I feel like he's taking advantage of me. I do everything for him and all I ask for is a little affection in return. Whenever I ask him to sit or cuddle with me, there's always an excuse. Also, when we fight, he can never admit that he's in the wrong also and we fight...a lot. I'm always the person apoligizing. Plus, he knows it bothers me, but he tells me that he doesn't come to family functions with me because we're not married, but then when I ask him if he thinks we will ever get married, he says he doesn't think about the future and you never know what will happen. I thought he was my soul mate, but am I just wasting my time?

I used my microwave this morning and it worked fine. I just tried to use it a few minutes ago, and it started making this loud buzzing sound, with the light flashing on and off. When I opened the door, the inside was smoking. It's only seven years old, and it's not a cheap model. Does ANYONE know what this could be (and how much it would cost to fix)? I can't afford another really nice one, and I know that it's technically possible to live without a microwave, but it would really suck. Thanks for your help:)
