I dont mean feel comfortable...i mean knowing you could have had more and didnt work to your full potential to achieve it...or let it go for so long and now its totally kicking you in the *ss....

my job i live for...and i just got out of a marriage that i settled for...and i wont wont do that agian....life is way to short to settle, its time to get out there and get what we want...we desirve it and we have earned it....

You made the decisions that you made in the past, the only thing that is important is the decisions that you make for today and the rest of your life. Hind sight is always 20/20.

I totally settled in life as far as education and career aspirations are concerned. So, I seek solace in my wife and kids, and work to ensure my kids don't settle.

i kinda feel that way. i am newly married and while i am thrilled with my husband and our new apartment i still feel like i havent lived up to my potential. that is why im going to be going back to college full time as of this january.

Settled as in comfortable...that I am -or- settled as in second best...that I don't.

I don't. That happened to me once and I fixed it...I know what you mean...it stinks to do that...it isn't permanent though.
