Hi Guys-My mother in-law lives an hour and a half away. She has had 2 heart attacks, a stent put in her neck to avoid a stroke, has mild mental health issues and can not get out of the house to tend to her needs. She can no longer take care of the dishes, wash, etc. How does the state and/or medicare decide if a nursing home is right for her or not?

She does not have any other physical disabilities such as an inability to walk, etc. She lives in Southern NJ just outside of Philly.

Any sites, advice, etc. would be a huge help.

The letter starts out formally. and goes on to state the my adherence to my set schedule is below par or whatever. It lists every occurrence (late arrrivals, unscheduled absences, leaving early, and my maternity leave. Should my maternity leave be listed with the occurrences that resulted in my termination? I was late numerous times because I did not have adequate daycare arrangements to meet my schedule. my schedule change request was denied

I am writing a paper which is mostly a historical look at unions in the united states. I have found one really good book and am basically following the same outline that the author uses. Although the majority of my paper is paraphrased from the one book, I do not want to have to footnote every sentence but i am scared of getting in trouble for plagiarism. Since most of the info contains numbers or facts, it is not common knowledge but when do i footnote and when do i not?

Looking for a variation to that little ham/pickle/cream cheese roll ups appetizer recipe... has anyone added garlic powder or other seasonings to the cream cheese? I was just hoping to make them a little different for Thanksgiving - instead of the same old. I saw something about adding red/green food coloring to the cream cheese - which would be good for Christmas...but does anyone have any simple suggestions for jazzing this recipe up a little?
