In most countries, including China, especially in the big cities, people don't know their neighbors' names. So, why do people living in the American cities still know their neighbors' names ?

There was a blonde who found herself sitting next to a Lawyer on an airplane. The lawyer just kept bugging the blonde wanting her to play a game of intelligence. Finally, the lawyer offered her 10 to 1 odds, and said every time the blonde could not answer one of his questions, she owed him $5, but every time he could not answer hers, he'd give her $50.00. The lawyer figured he could not lose, and the blonde reluctantly accepted.

The lawyer first asked, "What is the distance between the Earth and the nearest star?"

Without saying a word the blonde handed him $5. then the blonde asked, "What goes up a hill with 3 legs and comes back down the hill with 4 legs?"

Well, the lawyer looked puzzled. He took several hours, looking up everything he could on his laptop and even placing numerous air-to-ground phone calls trying to find the answer. Finally, angry and frustrated, he gave up and paid the blonde $50.00

The blonde put the $50 into her purse without comment, but the lawyer insisted, "What is the answer to your question?"

Without saying a word, the blonde handed him $5.

We needed to make an emergency repair on our stucco home that cost nearly $50K. Had to put it on a few high interest credit cards and now I'm freaking out! How can we pay this off quickly or get the balance transferred to something else? I was thinking of a home equity but we already have 2 mortgages on this place and no one wants to take third position. Moving is not an option as we'd be upside down. HELP!!! Any advice is welcome!

Hi, I know this is probably a stupid question, however. I was baptised a Catholic but have never really been to church until my grandmother's funeral a week ago and now I am really interested in learning more about the religion. I am just not sure how to go about it. Do I just turn up to church and talk to the priest, or study the bible on my own. Also how do you know what church to go to?

Since coach Carr's retirement announcement earlier this week and speculation of coach Les Miles being at the top of the list of candidates to be the next man at the helm at the nation's winningest football program, I would like to get some feedback from you as who should be the next coach at Michigan. Former UM QB standout and Stanford's current football coach Jim Harbaugh said some hurtful things about the academics within the program, true or not, I think he should be included on this list because he played for the late coach Bo. When Jim guaranteed a victory against OSU, it remind me of the feistiness in coach Bo's personality and I think this is what we need at Michigan. Let me hear from you since I wanted to include Jim Harbaugh in my list.
