Since coach Carr's retirement announcement earlier this week and speculation of coach Les Miles being at the top of the list of candidates to be the next man at the helm at the nation's winningest football program, I would like to get some feedback from you as who should be the next coach at Michigan. Former UM QB standout and Stanford's current football coach Jim Harbaugh said some hurtful things about the academics within the program, true or not, I think he should be included on this list because he played for the late coach Bo. When Jim guaranteed a victory against OSU, it remind me of the feistiness in coach Bo's personality and I think this is what we need at Michigan. Let me hear from you since I wanted to include Jim Harbaugh in my list.

Michigans first choice is Brian Kelly of Cincinatti, and he will probably end up with the job. If not him it will probably be Kirk Ferentz of Iowa. Lloyd Carr doesn't like Miles and it appears Michigan really doesn't want him. He's not up to the quality expected of a Big Ten coach, he's better off staying in the SEC.

I wouldn't mind seeing Les Miles get it but the thing is that the University of Michigan would have to pay 1.5 million dollars to get him because its in his contract at LSU. And that is what Lloyd Carr doesnt want is for the university to have to pay that. If Les Miles don't get it UM should go with a non-michigan person. Someone who has head coaching experience and is good coach with a winning record and well known. IMO

I've heard Tampa Bay's John Gruden is in consideration for the job. He is an offensive-minded coach and I think that coaches like that can bring a little something into the Big 10. For so long the staple has been defense and Ron Zook and Jim Tressel have added a little excitement into the conference that could be multiplied with Gruden in the captain's chair at Michigan.

Dude you guys still have glory. You lost to a team that has played far more games then any Division I A team to win a chammpionship and they have won it twice in a row. I know it looks bad but dude they pulled off a upset. It isn't the end of the world. If it was on the road it wouldn't be as big a deal. Michigan is still a power in college football. Just means you guys may have to wait awhile to win another national title though.

Les Miles seems like the right guy for the job. He played at Michigan, and he's had so much success at LSU...Think about what he could do for Michigan!
