If the penalty for sin is, as so many Christians teach, eternal torment in Hell, then Jesus didn't finish paying the price! My Bible says He arose again on the third day and after a short period of time went back to heaven...so either the wages of sin is death as the Bible teaches, or someone is teaching false doctrine...what's your opinion?

This should be good news for all you atheists out there!!

It was a long time ago when I saw it, but all can remember is Peter is narrating his life. And he talks about how he pretends he likes Lois's dinner, but he really doesnt. Then she knocks him out, and he talks about how he wakes up three hours later. Something like that I dont really remember. My best friend is friends with somebody who I DO NOT like at all cause that person who my best friend is friends with is not a very nice person and he has a really bad anger problem and he's been in trouble with the law for assaulting somebody and domestic violence on his ex-wife and he's gotten into many fights.

What should I do to tell my best friend how I feel about the person who he is friends with, I do not want to be friends with him and associate with him, my brother does not like him at all either but my best friend thinks very highly of him.

What gives a cop the right to just stop you on the street and frisk you and detain you if you have done nothing wrong this happened to me walking to the train after work I was just on my way home when a cop stopped me and detained my for almost an hour while he ran my background only to find nothing I've never been arrested in my life now should this make me mad or should I just let it go?

I live with my husband and 2 year old. The agreement was, they would get a storage unit for all their belongings. Then they said they couldn't afford one and took over our garage! They were supposed to buy their own toilet paper and laundry detergent type items. When my toilet paper ran out they used my daughters baby wipes(these are expensive for those that dont have kids) They go out at least 3 times a week. They had a $300 bar tab in just 2 WEEKS! They invite crappy people over at all hours of the night. We dont smoke so we asked that they be curtious. They smoke on my enclosed porch and throw cigarette butts all over my yard! I buy more expensive food because I'm picky, they buy store brand and eat all mine, AND THEIRS! When I was taking care of my sister who had surgery her husband asked my sister for her pain meds. 3 TIMES! They started talking crap to my sis because I asked for rent when he got paid 11 days before rent as opposed to letting them pay me 4 days after rent is due!

we have been together for 10 years and we seperated for a year we got back together this last Dec. and he had never slept with anyone before me now, he has slept with 3 other people and our sex life sucks! why is that? Unwise, immature, and always having sex or looking for it.
Now I understand most teens have sex at 16, 15, hell even 14, but some of the teens that do actually use protection. Are these unwise teens? Why is it when a teen fights back when they are hit in school they are considered immature and violent?
Why do people think that most teens are sex-crazed people and show be supervised when with the opposite sex?

My question is: Why do people think this about most teens? Also why do most people go to such lengths to stop us from contacting with the opposite sex?

So there's a guy... I'll try to make the story short. We liked each other last year, we went to homecoming together, but then we got shy and didn't talk for 6 months. He went out with this girl for 6 more months. At homecoming this year we saw each other and he didn't stop looking at me the whole night. It was like some kind of connection when we looked at each other across the room. We started talking on AIM a lot more after that, and he broke up with her two weeks after homecoming. I was one of the first people he told, and he said it was because he "didn't feel the same way anymore." Some people think he likes me, and I have a feeling... but I don't know. He told me if he didn't have a girlfriend, he would've asked me to homecoming this year, so I want to ask him to Sadies. One problem: we have amazing conversations on AIM, but it's awkward in person because we sort of have a history. I really like him, and I don't want to screw things up like last year by not talking to him. Help!
